A 5 dollar cup of Italian Ice. What a treat, the tangerine was incredibly vibrant without being overly sugary. Would take this over most gelatos in the US. A great treat worth getting if you are in the Corona park area.

I can’t speak highly enough about Benfaremo. The kids and adults to work here are so nice and courteous. I’ve been coming here for a long time but today I wanted to get 1/2 gallons of ices for my son’s daycare since it’s so hot today. The manager and kid working behind the counter packed all the ices for me and even helped me pack the containers and insulated it for me. They even offered to help me take it to my car. Wow! The ices are fantastic, but the service was exceptional. Even though this place is a 13 minute drive for me and Ralph’s is only 5 minutes away from my home, I’ll do the extra 8 minutes for such impeccable service.

Sorry to say….but these icees are no longer what they used to be! The taste and quality is gone…the fruit cocktail flavor, used to have real fruit cocktail fruits in it, no longer the case. Pistachio flavor, used to have a good amount of ground pistachios, now hardly any and the flavor tastes very artificial. Peanut butter flavor used to be creamy, flavorful and had a lot of peanuts, now it’s watery and hardly any peanuts. And to top things off their prices are OUTRAGEOUS…they charge $3.00 for the small cup, which I’m sure it’s not more than a 1/3 cup serving. Who knows when we’ll be back, if ever!! You CANNOT BE CHEAP WITH QUALITY AND RIP PEOPLE OFF…This is NOT AN INTELLIGENT BUSINESS DECISION!

Really a ZERO because this is the second time I order this in 2 months and it’s horrible. Taste like vitamin water with a baby splash of sugar. Super disappointed. Been ordering cherry since 92. This ain’t it. Cut corners if you wasn’t. I’m trying to get Ralph’s to Queens.
