I was diagnosed with advanced glaucoma and wanted to a second opinion on my treatment ahead. I met with Dr. Margeta and found her to be both personable and professional so I decided to pursue a treatment with her. During my second appointment, it was recommended that I should be aggressive with my treatment and opt for the laser surgery to relieve pressure in my eyes. My peripheral vision had declined significantly and eye drops didn't lower my pressure to an optimal level. I was told that her assistant would call me to schedule the procedure. I waited and heard nothing. So I called and left a message with her assistance Stephanie to schedule this surgery. I never got a call back and lost faith in the office's ability to provide me with quality post-op care. In my profession, you're only as good as the people you surround yourself with to build a team. Dr. Margeta is a highly skilled and competent physician. However, she and the facility at Longwood need better support staff. I have moved on from this practice. My vision is too important for my livelihood.

Very good doctors here. Timely appointments.Clean waiting areas. I’ve been treated for15 years by Mass eye. I’ll go no where else.

I do not recommend Dr Emma Davies or Mass. Eye and Ear, Longwood due to a lack of price transparency, poor communication, and gaps in patient care. I was a patient at this location for about a year, had a half dozen visits, one minor surgical procedure, and a dozen eye exams and tests. It’s very difficult to keep track of bills because the location sent two separate bills per visit – one for the doctor and exams, and the another for hospital visit charge and other diagnostic services. The majority of my visits were pretty much the same each time yet the bill each time varied. Dr. Davies on a couple of occasion did not recall key relevant details of case, for example in my post op visit she did not recall which type of procedure I had in my eye, she asked if I needed to remove a temporary contact which I did not need for my specific procedure. In another visit she did not recall if I wore contacts. One one visit she was 45 minutes late and did not offer an apology. I repeatedly asked how much the surgery would cost and was told $4,500. However, this was not accurate as the actual charge was $9,500. The $4,500 figure quoted was the maximum I would be held accountable for, minus what insurance would cover. Since I have a high deductible HSA this meant that my out of pocket was far higher than what I expected as I was doing my estimated based on a $4,500 procedure. On my post op visit I was given a couple of unnecessary exams (since my eye was still healing and adjusting) which I only found because I asked Dr. Davies why I needed to take those exams.

Had an appointment at 10:00am and had to wait 40 min before I was seen by a technician. It should be noted that there were no other people in the waiting room. After I was seen by the first technician for some tests, I had to wait in another room for about an additional 20 min (At this point it’s 11:30am). Then a second technician brings me to a third room where I wait another 10-15 min to see the doctor. Tldr, I had an appointment at 10:00am and didn’t see a doctor until 11:45am. The only reason why I didn’t rate 1 star is because the people were kind and friendly. Overall if time isn’t an issue then this place is okay.

There is garage or valet parking. I choose to park my own car and never have issues with finding a spot.
