Did not have reservations but was able to sit outside. Hostess was great, super friendly. Waitress tried. She brought out glasses for water and proceeded to put ice water in them but they were very hot 2 of them cracked and 1 exploded soaking my wife's leg and shoes. Luckily son did not get any glass on him. For the food it was good. I felt it was pricey but not out of line with others. The food tasted grest.

Wonderful, traditional Italian restaurant on the North side in walking distance to Mike’s Pastries. Attentive, lo-key service by locals who love what they do. Fabulous food. Good bread. Chianti above average. The Chicken Marsala was made to order and amazing. I will return until I’m a local.

What an amazing restaurant! The service, owners, atmosphere - all of it was really special. And then you add the FABULOUS food on top of that! The rice balls were absolutely the best I've ever eaten, and the veal dish was superb. Everyone at our large table enjoyed their food and wine. If you are looking for a smallish, intimate and. very special Italian meal in Boston, this is a great choice!

We were stopping by in Boston for one night and wanted to find an Italian place to have dinner at, since we were all craving some pasta. We call La Summa and are quickly given a table for a party of five. I ordered the Pasta Alfredo, and it was delicious. I enjoyed the cream and the well-cooked pasta, although I think the only thing that bothered me was that the cream felt slightly eggy and a little too milky. However, I was well satisfied with the entire course. We were given excellent service and spent around 20$ per person. Overall, a great place!

Does the restaurant has parking

Hi Joseph, Most of the North End is residential parking with the exception of some metered parking and limited parking on Hanover street and Commercial street/ Atlantic Ave. Although we do not have a parking lot or valet, we validate parking for Haymarket Parcel 7. There are also 3 outdoor parking lots at the end of our street, a quick 3 minute walk. (Sargents Wharf, Lewis Wharf and 290 Commercial street). We also recommend the app SpotHero to find the best parking for the best price. Hope this helps and hope to see you in the future!

Jeans to business casual and no valet parking. It is quite charming inside. Barbara is the owner of the business and has been there for over 30 years. The service has always been top notch.
