DO NOT MOVE HERE! These pictures are what you can expect from a "move-in ready" apartment at the Grove at Temple Terrace. Before moving in, the staff was inconsistent when giving us information regarding the apartment. We were told we could move in any time after 10:30 am, but the cleaners were still there when arriving to move in in the afternoon. There is a lack of internal communication. When I get to speak with someone who works at the office, it's rare, considering when I call, I am transferred to a third-party number, and it takes them days to return phone calls and answer questions that could be a simple email. The staff often gave different answers when we asked about our apartment and moving in. After the cleaners left, the fridge was still dirty leftover from the past residents. Not only is there a crack for the a/c to escape and bugs to enter through the broken sliding glass door, but it also does not even lock. There is only a screwdriver currently keeping my glass door from getting broken into, placed by maintenance when told about the broken door. When moving in, two smoke detectors, vent covers, and three doorknobs were missing. When using the dishwasher the first time, water flooded the kitchen floor, and there is visible water damage in the cabinets. These living conditions are completely unacceptable and dangerous. The Grove at Temple Terrace has yet to give a move-in condition form requested since picking up the keys because they did not have printer paper to print out the form when initially asked by my roommate. The person at the office said they would tape it to the front door, but that did not happen. When going to the office to ask for it again the next day, they still had no paper. After my roommate walked out, the staff locked the door and taped a sign that said "closing early" to the door. Knowing they have a unit in this condition, terrible management closed their office when confronted by a resident living in an unsafe unit! All this company has managed to do is take our security deposit, one month's rent, and other costly fees that do not replicate the actual value of this complex. They have yet to address these issues or answer why our apartment was not ready before moving in. Note: this lease was signed well over a month before our actual move-in date; there are no excuses as to why the unit is in such horrible condition. Updates if and when The Grove at Temple Terrace can answer questions and take care of these high-priority issues.

Worst application process you could think of, Office is always unreachable direscts you to a 3rd party who doesn’t know anything your lucky if you ever get to speak to somebody in the actual office. Once you apply you literally don’t hear anything until you get your decision via email then they hound you!! They’ve sent me multiple emails saying i owe them for application fees when in fact i paid them when i applied for the unit!! Literally everybody I know who have applied here has gotten denied, they have zero interest in renting to anybody. 1500 for an apt that don’t even have w/d connections I couldn’t even get an apt to view the apt before i applied 0/10 it’s plenty of better apts in TT.

Spoke with a leasing agent. Just so people know they charge $5 for insurance for the property. Yes, it’s just 5$. However, they stated it for liability insurance for the property. Please keep in mind, when you get renters insurance it’s covers both personal and liability. These places are double charging for things.

Applied OVER 2 weeks ago and still have not gotten a notice on if I was approved or not. I called the leasing office almost every day just to be told they couldn’t do anything but they will call and ask the people in charge to call me back, which they probably don’t even do because I haven’t heard anything from them. Quick to take money from people but won’t do their jobs. Very unprofessional

We do check credit but that doesn't hinder your ability to apply, the credit check affects your deposit amount.
They have on off-site answering call center who answers when the office doesn’t, and the office NEVER ANSWERS THEIR PHONE
