Nice room, comfy bed. Quiet. Well except for the bathroom. It has the noisy slider door, not a hinged door. Cannot open it noiselessly. Then because it's a slider it let's all bathroom noise, etc., into the room. The toilet is one of the very loud pressure flusher. Archaic.

Everything looks newly renovated. Huge lobby area and decent sized restaurant. The rooms are wonderful, very spacious and clean. Staff was great, very friendly. Good location, plenty of places to eat nearby and there is also a nice walking trail in a nearby park. The only negative is coffee. Very limited hours (they close at 11am) and $5 for a cup of regular coffee is outrageous. There are plenty of places nearby (including multiple Starbucks) but if you need a midday or evening coffee you'll need to plan for it. The rooms do have coffee makers but that's the one thing in the room that feels outdated.

It's mostly what you'd expect of a Marriot. As of writing there's still no daily room service. The m club has started to get more of the interesting food back, but still a lot of prepackaged too. Unlike other Marriotts in nearby cities there's still no grab-and -go breakfasts or in-room dining. They've also apparently removed alarm clocks from the rooms along with the microwaves that haven't been there for a long time. Even towels are in a bit of short supply in the room. Otherwise the room is clean and appointed with the basics, if poorly lit. The pool is average but the gym is better than many, with a good selection of weights. Plan to roam from floor to floor to find a working ice machine at this hotel. Not a bad place, but I have higher expectations of a Marriot.

The room was great! We did not enjoy the drunk parents letting the kids run wild all over the lobby. We were there for a retreat and the kids were messing around with the coffee and tea station. So afraid someone would get hurt. The kids were on top of tables and other furniture. Parents were loud and acted like they were at home in their living room having a party and watching sports. The staff was not helpful at all with the situation. Food at the restaurant was okay but expensive.
