The Mohawk commons store was close for some mysterious reason so we went up to Colonie Center. We were canceling our cable TV service due to the cost (We switched to HULU and got Disney, and ESPN plus and it was over 40 dollars cheaper) we wanted to keep Spectrum Internet for now. The store was very busy, and the wait was exceedingly long with limited seating to accommodate all this waiting. With my leg injuries it was uncomfortable to stand but I do not blame Spectrum, I think they had double the amount of customers because the other location was closed. We did see others there we had met exile at Mohawk commons. All that having been said it was a quick process once we were called for service. I recommend making an appointment before going because even though we were there first we still waited as others who came after us were helped because they made appointments. I didn't know that was an option but it is and I strongly recommend it. The person waited on me was fast and efficient, he was not particularly friendly though and seemed irritated when I asked him if he was certain that Internet service would not be disrupted as both my fiancé and I work from home so we can nit be without it. He seemed almost offended and response was short and as stated he seemed irritated that I would ask. Anyway, it sounds like a horrible experience and while not particularly pleasant the shop was clean and had an Apple store type feel to it. Clean, well lit, and well maintained. Understaffed for the volume of customers but again I blame this on the other stores usual customers going there. If not for that I think the service would have been faster. I gave them a high-ish rank to be fair and trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Nich Manning was fantastic would recommend spectrum based on him alone. Made my visit so easy even though we had problems with my passwords.

I went there to pay my bill they were very nice people I didn't have any problems there was a lot of tables where you could sit if you wanted to discuss anything they have phones at 2499 like you see on TV they have phones they have you can bring your boxes in if you want to swap them to get HD to record you can swap your boxes there you don't have to wait for them to send it to you I would go there it beats having to wait for it in the mail especially mail I'm nowadays I give the store 45stars check them out we did be well the end

I spoke with Matt who I believe works at this store today and I must say he was the absolute most polite, kind, caring and helpful person I have ever spoken to with spectrum! He made me moving my internet services over to my new house so easy and simple and never had an attitude or was I’ll mannered! Definitely if I ever need to talk to someone on the phone again i hope it will be him!

Absolutely yes you can as long as you have all the wires the box and remote
Yes
The whole of the center is currently closed till I think phase 4th the shops with there own outside doors are open
If you're trying to reach spectrum the best way is come towards Christmas tree shop and it's the entrance that's next door to it I'm not sure why they built the entrances the way they did it's very confusing I actually work at the Christmas tree shop so I know
Where Sears use to be on left Spectrum is on the right. You have to pass the Army, Marine office
Yes
Different devices can connect to different bands. It will help with increased speeds and less lag. Most of your devices prob only connect to the 2g though, if you can connect to the 5g do it! Most modern modems have both
Call the 1800 number and ask to be disconected.. Will need proper account information
Bring in old and account info. They'll give you another.
Yes, you can
Sorry, there's a misunderstanding I don't work for Spectrum
Yes and the modem is free
If you mean that you don't want cable but still want just internet, then you can, as long as Spectrum cable is in your area, your best bet would be to go to your closest Spectrum cable store, give them your address and let them check availability. The most current offer follows; Internet Speeds starting at 60 MbpsPLUS: FREE antivirus with Security SuiteFREE Internet modem and no data caps or extra fees $44.99/month for 12 mos*
If you live in the Albany area you can definitely switch it out there. I lived neat Glenmont and switched mine there.
Yes it it. Go in the entrance beside LL Bean and walk straight ahead and when you see Payless it right above it on the second floor.
