The grounds are well kept; a great spot for a little peace and quiet. There's a large field with nice views, and a large pavilion to hang out under. On the wooded side, there's a short (1.2 mile) walking trail that circles back to itself.

Beautiful little out of the way park. No crowds. Nice short easy hike. The plaque days 1.2 miles. I'm going for more like 1.75, but I'm only going by my gut and Google Fit.

Yes. It's not like a playground. It's an overlook. It has hiking trails, a pavilion, picnic tables, grills.
