We are a family of 4 with young kids. We stayed 4 nights at a tent site (T13 in pics) with elec/water hookup. Was great to be close to the showers and pavilion where lots of fun kids activities were planned during the weekend. There was a superhero theme and there were different crafts to make, a trivia contest, an ice cream social, a little train that rides around the park a couple of times a day, and an outdoor movie on Sat night. The activities staff were great with the kids. Location wise, there is a bit of road noise from route 44, but it's not too bad. The grounds are really mature with big tall trees and lots of shade and wide open play spaces in the tent area. The kids loved the jumping pad, playground and the swimming pool. The pool was very busy on the weekend but was much calmer during the week. It goes from 3-4 feet deep, which was perfect for my 5 year old who is still learning to swim. It's a little old, but I heard in the camp store that they are putting in a new larger pool and lazy river this year, hopefully in time for summer 2023. I would have given 4 stars, but bumped it up to 5 because of the amazing service of the team there. Very helpful and friendly. They keep the bathrooms clean with regular checks, although it's not an easy job! On our first night, we discovered the electric outlet wasn't working. We should have tested it in the daylight, but it was already full darkness at 8:30pm. I stopped into the office (they close at 9) to see if there was some basic action I needed to take. One of the maintenance team (Steve) was there and he jumped right in, to come over and take a look. He discovered the plug had shorted in the last rainstorm. I expected he would say someone would come in the morning to fix it - but no! He jumped in his golf cart, went to get a new plug, and fixed it right then in the dark, staying after the end of his shift to make it right for us. What incredible care and service! Overall, we had a great stay, would definitely recommend, and will plan to return next summer.

Worst KOA experience ever. Period. If I could give it 0/5 stars, I would. This camp is not relaxing whatsoever. Bathrooms packed at all hours, pool packed at all hours. You hear cars at all hours from the road. And if it’s not the cars, there are children running and screaming through campsites, even though we got multiple texts reminding us of their “golden rule”. There was a man showering in the woman’s bathroom at 11pm(totally safe for CHILDREN). If you have a fire past 9pm (sun sets around 8:30) you will have multiple people coming up to you telling you the fire has to be out at midnight (a three hour warning even though we were told at check in). There’s dogs barking at all hours too. They have an “adult swimming” hour between 9am-10am, but no one there to open the gates so don’t get your hopes up. Got there one out of 4 days and the pool was only 4 feet deep and needed a major revamp. Wood and ice is crazy overpriced oh and they charge you a delivery fee with no warning. Sites not spaced out whatsoever so get ready to hear every conversation your neighbor is having. Oh and they have activities you can sign out from the main office (everything is completely destroyed). You have all these workers putzing around doing absolutely nothing and their entire facility needs a revamp. How about reallocating some money and making it an actual decent campground. Lots of potential and complete let down. Don’t waste your money.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. Gentlemen that originally answered phone very helpful. Ladies running the desk upon arrival very helpful. Went above and beyond to accommodate us. We did end up in a 30 amp. FYI: they are dirt and grass… not gravel in this area. Lots of area to walk the dogs, lots of space for kiddos to run and play.

This place was amazing. Everyone was so so helpful. We joined right away and look forward to going to this site again, or another KOA somewhere in the USA. The service was superior! From a personal escort to our site, to no charge deliveries of ice and firewood right to our site. Plus they pick up your trash daily. The park was well maintained and we were just so happy with our stay!

I go every year with my family. Prices depends on your accommodations. If you rent a cabin it's gonna cost anywhere from $150 to $200 a night depending on how many adults and children are included. Rv sites are about half that price a night and tents about a quarter of the cabin cost also dependent upon how much space u need for 2 to 6 people for each site so price can vary. I love this Koa plenty to do and the cabins are virtually like staying in a really nice hotel complete with all the amenities. I hope this helps every one that is interested.
No they rent cabins nothing for sale onless somebody there is selling g a camper
Not sure but this one is
yes about 60 for a night on the weekends a little cheaper during the weekdays
yes, they must register at the office first though
Yes
I'm not sure. I have heard that it is sometime between mid October and the beginning of November. The office staff is very nice and helpful. Give them a call I'm sure they will provide all the information you might need.
Just checked their website for July 12th-18th 2020 ( as of 12-28-19 ) $137.00 avg/night - Only 2 sites left! ( this is for a tent site and two adults ) https://koa.com/campgrounds/boston/
No
Unfortunately, it isn't. It is a beautiful, extremely well managed place to stay. I would recommend you stay there as long as your schedule allows.
We're here now, and the pool's been open this weekend (Columbus Day is tomorrow).
The pool closes for the season in October.
Yes there are tables
I believe guests can rent golf carts to get around. I saw people with them on their sites and driving around. Staff too ..
Depends on the day but 90 mins approximately
The bigger cabins have TV and kitchens. They are great! You can use the KOA app or website to find out rates for specific dates.
Has anyone experienced Copper Canyon in Mexico. Would you recommend a tour or travel on your own?
