It is a good place to fish, for walking there are very short distances. however it is a very nice place.

Really nice waterviews as well as a bird watching station. Waters edge access to see fresh muscles and aquatic birds.

Osamequin is a beautiful little spot right along the Wampanoag Trail in Barrington. It is flat, the trails are well marked and there are many nice little benches set up in very good locations to sit and enjoy views of 100 Acre Cove. There are very nice views of the salt marshes. I find it very tranquil just before sunrise when the mist covers everything. You can walk most of the trails in well under an hour and it would be a good place to take the kids for a short walk.

Nice little trail. But it was muddy after rain/snow. Would have been nicer in the summer perhaps.

Yes

Is it wheelchair accessible?

No, it's not. Many paths have tree roots, and it would be very uncomfortable to be pushed over them - and hard work for the pusher. Also, Osameqin currently has an explosion of ticks, so be sure to take precautions. I removed 28 ticks from my dog.

Is this wheelchair accesdibld?

Not really. It has uneven ground and no pavement aside from the few bridges. I would suggest the Dundery Brook Trail in Little Compton for a wheelchair accessible nature outing. The parking lot is gravel, but you can drop off at the sidewalk. It has a nice sidewalk all the way down to the trail...which is a raised boardwalk type of trail.
