Great shop to buy anything from an insanely expensive bike made of unobtanium or a $125 Trek from the 90s so you can bike around the neighborhood and not worry what happens to it. Very knowledgeable and helpful. 4 Years Later My family has bought several more bikes over the years and they continue to exceed expectations every time.

The Short: Excellent customer service. The Long: just bought a new MTB here, and it was a great experience, they worked with me around some timeline issues, a trade in process and even me trying to test ride a bike 10 min before they closed (Thanks Jim!). Usually I hate being passed from person to person, but this shop plays as a team and it was seamless. I interacted with 5 different people in the process, and each person was great and their records allowed them to know exactly where I was at. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BIKE SHOP!

Good value. Great personal service. Staff are experienced and active bicyclists themselves. I bought a used bike through Stedman's last week. They spent time communicating with me about options, sizing and prices, answering all my questions. I came away with a great bike that meets all my needs, including the non inflatable tires that I have come to love. ( I ride for fitness and transportation, not for competition!) They spent time fine tuning the seat height when I picked up the bike, which made it easier for me to start off that day with a great ride on our wonderful O Neill bike path. I have stopped into Stedman's many times over the years for all things bike and found them to be very consistent in their commitment to excellence as they support all types of bicyclists. I am especially impressed that they are continuing to meet this standard during these times when bike shops are stretched thin as so many people are relying on bicycles more than ever for exercise, transportation and fun!
