I won a $25 Dave's gift card at a charity event for a 17 boy who was killed by a drunk driver. When I tried to use the gift card, the cashier said that card only had $5 on it. She called the manager over and they both treated me as if I was trying to rip off the store. They both said that I "must have" used the card before. I left the store humiliated and confused. The store manager called me later and said tech support checked the card and "When the card was activated, the person who activated it only put $5 on it." I said, "So Dave's donated a $25 gift card that only had $5 on it? That's pretty shabby." He repeated, "All I can say sir is when the card was activated, the person who activated it only put $5 on it." I asked, "Does that make sense? Who puts only $5 on a gift card? Did Dave's rip off this charity on purpose?" He repeated for the THIRD time, "All I can say sir is when the card was activated, the person who activated it only put $5 on it." Well Dave's, for that $20 difference, you lost a customer for life. Any business that would cheat a charity does not deserve my business.

Dave's Market is hands down one of the best markets I have shopped at. I only wish they had a store in Delaware. When I go to RI I always try to stop in and get things I can't get.

Dave's is a solid local chain, and this is one of their newest locations. It replaced an older one that was very close by. Each store's layouts are slightly different, presenting you with a small learning curve. Good quality, fresh produce. Helpful employees.

This is a state of the art Daves. If you liked Dave's marketplace before then you will love this one. It is a Dave's Marketplace squared. That means everything is doubly good as it was before. See the pictures to see how they made you feel like you were at Time's Square, while shopping at a market. They moved some of their best employees from Hoxie also, so you will see some of your favorites from behind the customer service kiosk areas. Daves may be a bit pricier at times, but they do have fresher products then bigger chains in the area.....and they have such a better prepared foods section, pizza selection, and apple selection ! This is a must see Dave's Marketplace. Great work Daves. From a loyal customer!
