It's a fun place to be. Very nice people. Definitely one of my happy places. Worth the drive. Recently had my turntable repaired, fortunately they were able to squeeze me in. (Thanks Again!) There is a waiting period on repairs ATM. But the costs were reasonable. The store houses a nice vinyl collection along with vintage stereo components and speakers. Check their website! Shop owner knows his way around this stuff real well, and has a reputation that keeps him very busy with repairs, and it sounded to me like you wouldn't want to be in a hurry for it right now, with his backlog. I am pretty confident he can work on the VCR, but wait for his reply or call to be sure.
I met the owner yesterday. I know they at least do repairs on old reel to reel tape decks, but there is a 9 to 12 week wait because he has a lot at the moment

I didn't buy any vinyl. I did a good look at the selection. Excellent. Prices looked good also.
He's got all kinds of great gear there but it's always coming and going. Best to call and ask about a specific type. Or just go visit, great store!
