We started taking both of our dogs to Boston Vet about a year ago and have had great experiences every time. Dr. Randi is our main vet and is excellent. She is very knowledgeable and extremely patient, particularly with our oldest dog who is extremely anxious at the vet. Their fear free policy has been effective in getting our dog more comfortable in this setting. The staff is also very professional and friendly. We highly recommend them.

BVC is seriously unparalleled. Because of a move I tried changing vets and…I’d sincerely drive a good distance (outside of a true emergency) to keep going to them, and my cats hate the car. It’s worth it. They make my cats - and me - feel SO comfortable every single time. They treat each animal like they’re a star and an individual. They actually do what’s best for the specific pet and explain things clearly to me as the owner. I can’t remember every doctor or tech I’ve seen over the years but I’ve literally never had a bad experience since 2018 when my first cat was a kitten, and that includes the non-medical staff. Most recently, Abby in the office and Dr. Joey Kaston we’re both just absolutely wonderful. I’m so sad to be moving a plane ride away (because seriously, if it was a reasonable drive, I’d keep them as my vet).

My experience could not have been more pleasant! After I made an appointment they called me and moved it up three weeks. On the day of, they invited us in earlier than our 8:30 slot- didn’t have to wait at all! Everyone, including reception, were so friendly and warm. JP and Sherry were so kind and sure to make sure my cat Bear’s first experience at the vet was pleasant. Afterwards, my cat was happy to sit and watch the fish tank while we were waiting for a car. I highly recommend this practice!!

My puppy saw Dr. Jonathan Flash, assisted by Ji Soo. They were both incredibly patient and kind. They answered my many questions with thoroughness and I feel very confident in their care of my dog. The office is also beautifully managed and clean. What would have been a stressful visit for my dog ended up being fun for her. I am very grateful for everyone’s help in making my dog feel comfortable.

We unfortunately do not see guinea pigs at Boston Veterinary Clinic. Try Boston Veterinary Care, Back Bay Vet, or Angell. Good luck! Dr B

Like if I want to see if my pet is healthy, how much money is it?

Price can vary for example if you're pet needs any immunizations or bloodwork done. Bloodwork can be around $ 200.00, $75.00 for the doctor visit, cost of immunizations varies. If you'll be driving there, they have their own small parking lot which is free.
