After dealing with arm and neck pain for almost a year with no real diagnosis, I was skeptical about how physical therapy would alter my comfort levels. However, Sarah listened attentively to my many mysterious symptoms and was able to create a program that has drastically improved my day to day quality of life. I am nearly completely pain free as I continue to work through her program! Words cannot explain how grateful I am to Sarah and her team for helping make me feel like a functional human being again. Thank you!!

I highly recommend Bay State Physical Therapy. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. They continual show a true concern and caring for each patient's personal situation, tailoring treatment to best accomplish the goals set, adjusting where needed even when potential obstacles or setups present themselves. I would not be as far back as I am from my injury without Bay State Physical Therapy. Thank you!

I went to Bay State for chronic migraines and neck pain that I had been suffering with for months, and they were completely gone in a matter of weeks! The whole experience was wonderful - the staff were friendly, and the office was clean. All equipment was sanitized after each use. I worked with Emily, who was absolutely terrific! She was knowledgeable, took my concerns seriously, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I also opted to try dry needling, which was offered at an affordable price. It only took about 10 minutes and made a noticeable difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future if needed. Truly can’t recommend this place enough!

I have nothing but great things to say about my healing experience with the Bay State team. I am so comfortable and so confident with my therapist. I have made great progress in my first visits. I had multiple fractures of my tibia, surgery, and I’m focused on a full recovery. I know I’ll get there with my therapist.

All of our physical therapists are Doctors in Physical Therapy (DPT) and are licensed by the state of Massachusetts. Each physical therapist has additional training in specialized areas.
Our clinic uses an exercise and manual based approach. Generally, your session may begin with hands-on treatment and then you will perform exercises prescribed by the physical therapist. The ratio will vary depending on your condition and where you are in your plan of care (POC).
For your initial evaluation, the appointment will take about 60 minutes. Going forward, your sessions will be about 40 minutes.
Based on the examination and evaluation at your first appointment, your physical therapist will discuss with you your Plan Of Care (POC). This plan (POC) will include prescribed frequency and duration (ex: 3x week for 6 weeks) needed to reach your goals.
