I have had very mixed experiences here. Some amazing staff that listened and really wanted to help. Powerades abusive jerks who took pleasure in triggering a flash back. It's the usual mixed bag of garbage the VA gives you these days. They force the patients to wear masks under COVID protocols. They prevent patients from having companions while receiving care under COVID guidelines. But I did not see a single staff member wearing a mask nor a face mask nor taking any COVID preventive steps on themselves. They prevented my companion from joining me but did not offer me a sign language interpreter even when informed of my profound deafness and that my hearing aids were broken. Yet when I did not respond or I did not understand they ER staff on my second visit became very abusive and did everything they could to trigger a flashback so they could put me in the non-compliant category and get rid of me. if you are a combat veteran and if you have any other option don't go there .

Horrible. Even as a 100% er. Calls are not returned. Plus being hung up on, even though I am always respectful when I call.

This facility is outstanding. They run efficiently and are courteous to all who come for care. I have received world class care from the doctors and staff. Always friendly and willing to listen.

Friendly and courteous staff. I got Lost because I've never been here before, I called GU clinic and the gentleman that answered the phone came to show me where I was supposed to be.

Across from valet parking area
Do you mean VA id card?
Yes
Hi: Yes we have endovascular surgery. If we don't have the specific services you need, or if we cannot provide the services within a reasonable amount of time, we would then arrange for that service at another VA facility or from a private-sector facility. I would make an appointment with your VA primary care provider to discuss these options, as well as the risk of complications for any specific procedure you may need.
Yes...as long as he has a VA card as a registered Vet
Each floor has the wings labeled when you get into their lobby. It is in the main building.
Out back. Has a flag pole in front of it.
Main entrance
Veterans and employees can call to make an appointment.
Va doesn't pay for dental unless 100 percent disabled
COVID-19 vaccinations are by appointment only, either in Building 32 or in the main hospital building, 2nd floor.
Yes, VA care teams will reach out to enrolled Veterans and schedule their vaccinations based on their risk level. We have a dedicated team that is reviewing patient records on a case-by-case basis and actively contacting patients at highest risk of severe illness from COVID-19, starting with the oldest patients and those with conditions specifically identified as placing them at highest risk, and expanding from there based on CDC guidelines, which can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/index.html. There is no need to call for an appointment or come to a facility to sign up – we will contact Veterans when we are scheduling their risk category.
No only the veteran. VA will only do one thing with the spouse marriage counseling.
Hi: It is across parking lot 5 from the main hospital building, at the corner of Regent Ave. and Wolcott St.
Yes
Yes we do! Talk to your VA primary care provider, and they can put in a consult for the test.
Hi: The 4th floor, A-wing is the in-patient mental health facility (for patients who have been admitted to stay overnight or longer). Our patient check-in for mental health out-patients (Veterans reporting to / making an appointment) and mental health urgent care is on the 3rd floor, B-wing. There are also some other mental health clinics located elsewhere on campus, but most of those require a referral and the location will be on the Veteran's appointment card.
Good question not sure Call and ask anyone that you can talk too

Hi. Emergency room and in-patient services are open on Saturday, though we do see a limited number of Primary Care and Mental Health patients by appointment. Other services are usually M-F, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. ER is open 24/7.
Actually the lab opens at 700 am but people start showing up around 630am
? No idea. I'm in San Diego. La Jolla is closed. Hope that helps. Try the Emergency room if is critical.
Hi: We don't have a building B. There is a B-Wing in the main hospital building. Could that be what you are looking for?
0700 is when it opens. Closes at 1700 M-F except Federal Holidays.
The valet parking is now at the main entrance.
Absolutely, I just moved to a different state snd had no problem switching over.
It depends on the wound for which you are seeking care. Please contact the patient call center at 401-457-3336 to discuss your needs. If it's urgent, you can always come to the Emergency Department, 24/7.
Refrase the question. Don't understand g.i??
Consult the doctor that ordered the tests. No one on here can help you.
There are benefits programs through the Veterans Benefits Administration that may be able to help. Call 800-827-1000, visit https://www.va.gov/, or visit a VBA representative. VBA representatives are at the Providence VAMC M-F, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Please contact Primary Care at 401-457-3336.
24-Hour emergency room
There is a physical / occupational therapy facility, but it is only for Veterans with a clinical need. If you believe you have a skilled therapy need, please contact your primary care provider for a referral.
