Very nice park area. It was very windy the whole time we were there and very busy. But the park was beautiful with a great play area for kids. It was a good place for a birthday party.

This would get five stars if not for the noisy highway 101 just a few hundred feet away. The sloping highway generates much more noise due to engine acceleration going up and truck compression braking going down. It goes on all night, not much of a wilderness experience. Otherwise the campground is superb, with yurts available, clean bathrooms and showers, a nearby lake with a fishing dock, boat ramp, playground, and protected swimming beach. Waste dump available for RVs, family friendly, camp fire wood available for $5 per bundle. Really a great campground except for that incessant highway noise. Maybe someday it will all be electric drive and quieter?

Great place for a hike or kayaking.

Wonderful park. The grounds are well maintained and the facilities are very clean. There is a lot of space for picnicking, a large covered gazebo with electricity and sinks, a swimming area, and a nice play groud. They also have a boat launch, a dock for fishing, and there is a beautiful trail around the lake. The trail is well maintained (mostly wide and flat) and good for most ages and abilities.

Yes there is tent camping. When I was there seen lots of people setting up tents.
As in this moment, time of day? Or as in this season? It's a state park so it has the same rules and hours as all of them.
