This place is cool, some staff are nice. That dude that was fat and lost all the weight, I forget his name, ever since he left, that place just is not the same. He was the best manager they had.

My favorite thrift store. You do have to stop in often to score good finds because stuff gets picked over quickly, but they have great prices and the folks working are always really nice. Plus the money you spend goes to a great cause.

I’ve come here twice and I love the energy here. Cute clothes and lovely staff. I appreciate the fact that they offer free HIV testing. Most clinics make it a hassle to get tested because of the price they charge and requirement for I.D and the same for purchasing a home testing kit. Out of the closet is a fun and cute thrift store and can be seen as a safe place for the lgbtq+ And black community

Nice quality, affordable gently used clothing. Has a pharmacy. Supports HIV/AIDS awareness/prevention. LBGT friendly. Amazing staff.

Yes it is
Yes, but they won't accept anything more than 5 years old.
It depends on the furniture. They turned down my futon frame, wardrobe unit and night stand. Don't accept the first two, wouldn't take the night stand without "other bulky furniture".
FIRST ANSWER IS WRONG. They close early (6pm) on Sundays.

They are very reasonably priced compared to other "NYC Thrift stores". $7 clothing items, Books for under $2, and great priced furniture. Sometimes there are even sales that make it even better. Definitely worth checking out.
I believe you can drop off anytime during business hours. You can also arrange for pickup for larger items
