I always have a good experience at Staples. I found what I needed. The price was fair and the service was good. This location is also convenient for me.

I am strong believer in that you get what you put out in life, and this is particularly true in retail and customer service. I went to this Staples yesterday, out of my way, to do two things: 1) To pick up a print order that could not be printed at my local store and 2) To exchange a desk lamp that came with a faulty power button. Since the check out was right by the entrance, I figured I would stop there first to do the exchange. I greeted the cashier at the desk and explained to her what I was there to do and that I have the email receipt. She immediately asked if I had the card that was used to pay for the lamp, and I said no but I have my email receipt. Now, we all know that different companies have different returns & exchanges procedures at their stores - some need your card to swipe, even for an exchange; others do not. This woman went on to catch a condescending tone with me, unprompted, to explain to me, like I was 5 years old, that she needs the card that was used for the transaction. I said to her "oh you need the card?" She went on with her condescending attitude to tell me that I needed to bring the card and then go back to get the new item and then come back to the desk so that she could void the original transaction, swipe the original card, and charge for the item because "that's how we do things here, hun." I looked at her like she had lost her damn mind and told her okay, that that's fine and that different stores process exchanges differently and that's why I was asking. She repeated with her snarky attitude that she needed that card. Now, all this woman had to do was tell me nicely what she needed from me - I don't work at Staples, SHE does. There was absolutely no need for the tone and attitude that I received (but then again... I should've figured that that was the treatment I was going to get based on how she was speaking to another customer that had walked in right before me, asking where to find an item in the store). I smirked at her and told her that was fine, I'll just bring the original card back, and went on to pick up my print order. The only saving grace at this store was the the young lady at the print & copy center who assisted me very pleasantly and with a smile. That's all it takes, people.... Be nice and keep the bad attitude at home. No one wants to be on the receiving end of your nonsense, and not everyone who walks into a store with an exchange is there to pull one over on the store. That's how this cashier made me feel. This lady's level of customer service at the store checkout is shameful and completely unacceptable, and no customer should feel like they're unwelcome. I will NEVER go back to that store!

This staples has horrible service. The lady this morning was late opening the store. Which caused there to be a line out front of people waiting to print before they had to get to work and school. Once the attendant heard ALL of us knocking on the door. She decided to make a point by taking her time “opening” the store. Mostly aimlessly walking back-and-forth doing nothing. Then proceeding to read a document at the cash register before finishing up to open the front door. After she gave everyone an attitude and provided 0.00 help and customer service. 1st and last time using. I’ll drive out of my way to continue to go to Office Depot. Way more professional.

This was the closest Staples store to me since the New Tampa Staples closed. I went there to pick up some school supplies for my granddaughters. I found almost everything I needed. I was looking for a small calculator, but most of the very small calculators were sold out. I did have trouble finding these items at first, but an associate directed me to the proper area. I was surprised that he was an associate because he was casually dressed in a tee shirt & shorts. I was used to associates in polo shirts & managers in dress shirts. Some of the shelves were a little messy, but I guess you can expect that with back to school sales going on.
