Updated 1 week later-- attached is our bill we received on march 2nd. 750. Nearly double the monthly rent. Space rent is 470, the rest of this is daily parking violation fees multiple days each week for an empty space because its a daily use vehicle. Likes to retaliate and charge parking violations for an empty parking spot? Also decided to loop our notice bag around the door knob, then tape it to the door knob with a 6inch piece of tape by wrapping it around and around the narrow neck of the knob to the point I couldn't operate the door until I removed the notice. The weather was fine and didn't call for needing a protective sleeve.(We have video of vehicle coming and leaving and anytime they put these notices on the door) Today we are having heavy showers mixed with snow and of course we got another parking violation for an empty space only she didn't put it in a sleeve in heavy rains. Knowingly putting a notice in hazardous wet conditions that paper obviously can't stand against. Interesting behavior from a landlord to say the least. Space rent is 470 and currently we are being charged nearly half the amount in space rent as additional parking violations for a little 4ftx6ft pull behind cargo trailer that is used daily. Apparently even though Alaska parking policies and laws are consecutive parked hours they think it's okay to enforce their parking policies COLLECTIVELY without any mention in the lease. This is like getting nearly 200 bucks a month in charges for a parking garage you park in for just a few hours a day. They refuse to provide tracked hours so we can see what constitutes a violation, we have proof and witness statements verifying this treatment is not equal to all tenants so you may be special and not have any issue. She clearly just hates us for some reason. This isnt any new vehicle either. Just a new issue she suddenly started without explanation last summer. Their solution for us to stop being charged? Park it in the office parking lot like they allow other tenants, and just move daily. Like that's somehow different from parking on our own parking pad at our space and moving daily? 🙃 seems the office lot is consecutive hours and the pads at spaces are collective 🤔 that doesn't make any sense and isn't transparent from their 1 sentence regarding parking in the lease. The increase in charges and escalation in harassment has caused a lot of undue stress for me trying to run my business from home and has been causing severe anxiety and sleepless nights for me. Avoid at all costs. Good business owners, managers, and landlords know how to compromise with good clients. Not this place. Here if you try to act within your rights you will be met with a level of petty the likes of which you have only seen from the highest level Karens or the youngest of whiny toddlers. This has been my personal opinion of my own personal experience.

A person could easily get lost. Lots of vehicle's with little or no parking in some areas.

the fact that there are neighbors that would tattle on each other like this makes me not want to stay here.
Yes
I would advise that you rent a regular home or an apartment.
Call the Dimond Estate office, they'll let you know which one's are for sale. Also look on FB marketplace, there's some that r cheaper then 30000.
