I have spent the last few days cleaning and crying. I hired Servpro to clean my home after a fire last week. From the 1st day I did not get what I was promised. I was told a crew of 4 would come, and a crew of 2 came. Then when I complained, they sent more. I was told my house would be cleaned in full of any and all residue from the smoke and fire extinguisher chemicals. They said everything in the house would be cleaned, floors, walls, furniture, every small item. My laundry room was not done at all, my office was barely touched. They opened vents in my downstairs playroom and left piles of gunk on the floor from it. The baseboards and floor in the room where the fire was still is coated in chemicals. My floors were not washed. They left piles of items and trash bags filled with food on my porch and in my front hall instead of placed in the garage to be inventoried. My dishes all had to be washed and run through the dishwasher as whatever they used left a nasty film on it. None of the appliances were moved or even wiped down. They threw away food from cabinets and food as being spoiled by the chemicals but didn't bother to wipe them out. They claim to leave your home "like it never even happened", and I'll admit with 4 kids and 2 dogs, my house is not the cleanest on the block, but they actually left it in worse shape than before the fire. Also, beware of Bianca, who I had to kick out after she got nasty with me on Day 3 when I asked a question about what had been completed. I was told repeatedly a supervisor would come through with me room by room at the end. They "finished" Friday, and I haven't heard from them since. No supervisor went through anything with me. I still haven't gotten a figure of the cost either- Bianca told me 20-30k, and Ted the owner said 12-15k as estimates. I have no idea what my insurance will be billed but regardless, it's not worth it. Wish I had cleaned it myself to begin with since I had to redo it all. It's a few weeks to Christmas, and all I'm doing is stressing out over all of these chemicals and crying and cleaning. Working with them left me stressed and tired. They did more harm than help. I have pictures and video to back up all of the things they did not do as well. EDITED TO ADDRESS RESPONSE- Bianca was asked to leave my home when she got a nasty attitude when asked if something was completed. I was trying to gauge what areas could be used and what could not. She told me I could review it all at the end and she wasn't answering my questions about items. She had been rude the afternoon before and I'd let it go but her attitude at the time was nasty. So I asked her to leave- she refused and I told her to get out of my house as she was trespassing. I never screamed vulgarities at anyone. I don't swear, ever. At no time was there a crew of 6 in my home. The most here was 4 plus the owner. They cleaned the office on Friday when we were not even here so I'm not sure how it would have been intrusive? We were not here for the majority of the time the workers were here. Asking if areas have been cleaned is hostile? That's the most that was ever said to the employees other than on Day 1 when I asked one of the guys if more workers were coming as Brendan had said he was sending a crew of 4 and only 2 were there. I've also now looked at the claim you sent to my insurance company and I'll be calling them- you charged for cleaning things that were never cleaned- like my couch. I've added a few photos and videos to show the lack of quality work done. We were told that a supervisor would go through the home at the end, and no one did. Also, they have NEVER offered to rectify it or come back out. BEWARE.

Our house had extensive damage from smoke and oil fumes. Servpro was very professional, efficient, and understanding of our needs. They completely cleaned and restored our three story house in thirty days- while we were still in residence. An excellent job, for which we are greatly appreciative.

Our plumber discovered mold on our walls due to an unknown leak behind our kitchen sink. Servpro came out and mitigated it. They even communicated with our insurance company. The crew was courteous and diligent. Great job

Servepro left me with more damage then before they came. They are difficult to work with. Ted, the owner doesn't care about the customer, just his pockets. Their dehumidifier leaked on and undamaged part of my kitchen floor. The owner Ted met me at the home and promised he would be back to clean up and dry out the mess, he would even work with my contractor at my convenience. Well, when I called to make the appointment the rude customer service representative stated Ted "really doesn't work" and would not be calling me back, but had advised her they would not be coming out to take care of the damage their machine caused as promised. I have never met a small business owner who would not even return a phone call to a client. I was taken advantage of by Ted. When he realized he was not getting the demo job he just disappeared and left me to deal with the damage. The only person I could get ahold of was an office girl who had no working knowledge of what needed to be done. I felt totally helpless. Thank goodness for my contractor. Beware servepro and Ted, a business owner who does not care about the customer.
