My family and I moved from AZ to NY and loved living at the Landings. We were super pleased with the leasing consultant, she was so nice and very welcoming to my family and I. I loved all the activities they had for the kids because being so new to the area it was hard to find places to take my 2 girls (2 and newborn) my oldest loved doing their crafts and getting to hang out with other kids her age. She as well as other kids loved cookie day. We lived close to the office so all throughout the day we saw kids going in the office to get cookies. It felt so good to be apart of a community where your kids mattered and didn't feel like they were a problem because of smashed cookies or spilt milk. I actually asked if I could help make the cookies because I loved being in the office and so did my oldest. Honestly the girls in the office work so hard and they delt with so much crap. I don't know how they keep their lid on and keep so professional. During the super harsh winter time we had ice build up which lead to leakage in our apartment mostly in our master bedroom. The maintenance guys instantly brought the equipment to help with the problem. They however were not allowed to go clear the ice due to company rules so the ice just kept melting and water kept leaking into our apartment. Long story short our apartment wasn't able to get fixed until someone came out to clear out the ice so we ended up being placed in a different apartment. My husband worked until about 8pm so the manager met with us at around 8:30 maybe closer to 9pm to help get our lease and everything moved over to a different apartment. I'll never forget her walking up to the office door with us smelling like burnt popcorn because her kids ended up putting it in the microwave for to long. (: I felt so taken care of. I was so so grateful for her willingness to attend to my families needs at such a late hour. She is hands down the hardest worker I have ever seen. Sometimes she would clock out and close at normal hours, run home and do her mommy thing than after her kids went to bed she would be back at the office working to get things done or put her kids on the bus for school and head to work. Doing whatever it takes to keep that place running.

Unable to leave a review anywhere else I am resorting to google. my sister-in-law was kind enough to allow me to express myself on her account without feeling targeted by giving out my opinion. I am writing a review on behalf of my family. We loves this community. Neighbors will be neighbors anywhere you go luckily all of hers were extremely pleasant. We do know that the staff was short handed at one point in time but communication would have been great during that time frame. Unfortunately, we received many excuses for everything. If we were given some sort of expectations instead of getting set on the back burner that would have been great. Now that they're fully staffed I have noticed a tremendous difference. The assistant manager is very nice and professional from what I have seen. The maintenance team is great and are very prompt. The new leasing consultant is very nice and efficient because every time I go into the office she is helping multiple people. But she did give me a lot of push back as to when our work orders would be completed. However, I can not say the same for the property manager she is very rude, short, and unprofessional. I have walked through the office and heard her cussing, I have walked by her office to get a package and she has had her infant baby in her office on multiple occasions, many times children are running around the office and I cant help to think how any work gets done. She unfortunately gives this place a bad reputation because she does not know how to work with people from seeing her speak to other residents outside the office. I do love the landings I am just questioning the management of this office.

It's a highly conservative town. If you notice the whole town has maybe 1 mile of sidewalks all concentrated around the former mall. And Route 9 has narrower shoulders than in Colonie. They have no town services and rely on state and county police. Yet ironically the property taxes are pretty much as high as Colonie which provides far superior services. Essentially the town is closed minded in this regard and it shows. The Burger King on 9 and 146 was hiring last year at 13.50 an hour bc without public transportation no willing employees can get to work there. Ironic for a voting block that doesn't want a minimum wage, and certainly not an increase like the one that just occurred. And, as a final point, all the fast food and fast casual restaurants in town are the worst in the whole area. Lazy, entitled kids who resent the jobs tend not to do those jobs well.
$1250 with no pets an extra $45 if you wish to rent a washer and dryer
