We were in town for the Dali museum and looking for a place to grab dinner. Not being familiar with the area, we we intrigued by the name and this turned out to be a great choice. It is on the small side, but comfortable and attractive. Our server was very helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Maybe we were lucky in our choices, but the food was really outstanding. The house burger was one of the best I have had in a while, the homemade pasta and marina perfectly done but the best was the lavender basil panna cotta desert. I should mention that they have a nicely curated wine list, we drank an Austrian red that was inexpensive yet quite good. Good job!

The best burger in St Pete hands down. This place is small and has a small menu but the food is great. Obviously I highly recommend the burger but the short rib is great too. No liquor bar but that’s fine, just know that going into it. Higher prices than average but most food items justify it. Definitely worth checking out!

What a great seasonal as well as artisanal restaurant. Service was knowledgeable & great, had the octopus, salmon special and donut bread desert. Yum, great memorable flavors. Rest areas accessible but through the shared business atrium space. I’ll be back, often!

This restaurant was amazing. At first glance of the menu, I was wondering what would I order, but my group and I were looking for a new experience. The red snapper ceviche was out of this world. I also had the cavatelli pasta with mushrooms and I added shrimp. The flavors were on point and delicious. I paired it with the Astrolabe Sauvignon Blanc, which was smooth and rich. My friends tried the duck confit and cous cous, the poutine, and gambas al ajillo (I've never had beans so flavorful). I would highly recommend those. The seafood boullabaise and filet were ordered but I wouldn't say they were amazing. The filet was sent back because it was too salty and the boullabaise was eaten, but it had a very fishy taste. I would definitely go back to see what's new on the menu. The setting was intimate, dim lighting, and an atmosphere for great conversation. I didn't get any pics of the appetizers because we were so hungry and everything looked great. We slowed down a sec and took pics of the entrees.

They have rotating menu with seasonal items. I do recall some vegetarian and polenta dishes. They are also very accommodating. They did typically post a menu on their Facebook page. I find it best to call ahead of I know my party will have dietary needs.
They don’t take reservations.
Their website isn't great. I'd call the restaurant and inquire. They may be able to mail a paper gift certificate to your recipient if they don't have a gift card available. I did this at another restaurant for a birthday gift.
Yeah, their website needs some work, it's not mobile friendly. Best bet is their Facebook page, which is more managed. There's a menu link there https://m.facebook.com/pg/brickandmortarkitchen/menu/?ref=page_internal&mt_nav=0
No, first come first serve. But I did call ahead and had my name entered. It does on large groups, 6+.
