As new and first time homeowners, our first interaction with a major home repair was nothing short of nerve wracking. In what we soon learned to be as an emergency roof repair only 1 week after closing on our house, Conde Roofing went above and beyond what I expected for customer service, care, responsiveness and empathy. As soon as we learned of our repair needs, Stephen did everything he could to get someone on site same day to inspect our roof to assess the damage done. Adam was onsite shortly after and was responsive, understanding, and empathetic to our situation. They made every effort possible to get us on the schedule to repair our roof as soon as possible. We were able to be accommodated extremely timely, alleviating our fears of further damage. Mel, Adam and Stephen’s flexibility and communication was so greatly appreciated. Our roof was repaired efficiently and they did an amazing job. The crew was very nice and hard working and cleaned up every inch of our property post repair. We are so grateful for their help and would recommend their service to anyone.

I cannot recommend Conde Roofing enough. We purchased our home in 2020 told that the roof was brand new in 2018. So it came as a great shock when we suddenly had water damage, mold and rotted wood in our attic. We had many companies come out to give us estimates. We were blown away by the professionalism, knowledge, promptness and best of all honesty that we encountered with Conde. We chose them above all the others. We later came to find out that the roof done in 2018 was essentially a hack job, shingles put over layers and layers of old shingles. Not done correctly. There was no ridge vent on our roof as there should have been, and worst of all there was no ventilation in our roof due to the soffits being completely blocked by layers of insulation. In 1 days time, they removed all the old shingles, fixed our ventilation/insulation issues, replaced all the plywood on the backside of our roof, and did a beautiful job with the shingles. The team that came that day were all very polite and hard working. I’m so so impressed.

What can I say??? These guys are Awesome!!!! Conde Roofing is one of the 4 companies we called to shingle the whole roof. Lonnies explanation of what they were going to do to protect our roof was better than any of the other companies. He told us they would show up with a foreman (Adam) who would oversee the job as well as the roofers. They had facilities brought in so we did not have to worry about them using the house or the woods, 😆 . Adam went above and beyond at the site to make sure everything was in order. It was awesome to watch. No hollering or screaming of the guys, nothing. They just worked. They put tarps on the front and back of the house as well as some covers on the side so they did not get ruined. You should of seen them work! They all had harnesses and other safety precautions in place. We did not have to worry about any mishaps. They had an extra large crew that morning and were on the roof for 3 hours and busted out 18 sq. stripped, covered and roofed(even with the snow). Mel told us it was a well run machine and he was right on his word. If anyone wants or needs their roof done, Please call Conde Roofing, you wont regret it. Thank you to all the hard working guys on the roof and on the ground. You should be proud!! You truly have a great work ethic and are wonderful to watch!!!! WTR

This is a common issue, especially when in a room or closet that you don’t go into much, or when first getting a home. One way would be to take a pencil, and draw a circle around the stain. Check in on the stain, especially after a rain or snow storm, and see if it has grown outside the confines of the pencil mark. If it has, you have an active leak. If it has not, then it may be an old leak that has since been repaired, and can now be safely painted over. Remember: by the time you see the signs of a leak, there is often damage being done where you can’t see too. The BEST option would be to schedule an appointment with an expert to inspect the roof and see if there are any obvious signs of leaks or opportunities for water penetration.
Ice dams can be caused by a number of things. Most often we have seen them happen because of a lack of proper insulation or ventilation in the roofing area. Sometimes they can be caused by poor quality or missing materials on the roof (such as Ice and Water). Other times still Ice Dams are caused by the weather and there is no fault with the roof at all. To determine this, we recommend having a roofing expert come do an inspection to see what your cause of ice dams is, and what can be done to prevent them in the future.
