I used to go to this church every Sunday when I lived in Schenectady. Now I live in Scotia. I see this church now has a much bigger fellowship hall like these photos show inside the Poling house where the classrooms, the restrooms, the Faith Bookshop, and the library use to be when I was there. It includes a overhead balcony. This new fellowship hall is state-of-the-art. It includes a stage with steps going up it. The old Assembly Hall at the church is now a library. Someday when I visit this church again, I will check it out to see what this new fellowship hall looks like. The thing that I will remember for a very long time when I was here at First Reformed Church of Schenectady during once every year, especially on Easter Sunday at the end of the service, when the choir singing Handel's Hallelujah chorus.

Beautiful historic church with a large active and welcoming congregation. Half of the campus of 5 connected buildings is currently under renovation, but the sanctuary is open for church services.

When I was at this church, I do remember on Easter every year, the choir singing the Hallelujah chorus at the end of the service. That to me is very inspiring, even spiritual. I love it when I saw between 40 and 50 people in the front of the sanctuary at the church, singing that Hallelujah chorus. Now, since I live in Scotia, and attend Sunday morning services at FRC Scotia, I wish that the choir at that church in Scotia should also sing the hallelujah chorus there, e.g. on Christmas or Easter. I have requested it.
