With those people out who wants to go in there to sleep all day and their conditioning go in there to sit and sleep as you can see in this picture again library what's this like it's his home this is getting is our politicians are not doing s*** to stop it if you go any other place besides near Albany you go to Troy you don't see this and s*** in Troy no you do not you don't Schenectady anymore you definitely don't see them Saratoga cuz there's only one bus line is that we're talking but you only see it here in this area of Albany nope. To conform a little better make it work so it's more pleasant to sit in the bus stop this bus stop is filthy it needs to be cleaned

Washington Ave. branch: The noise level from loud conversations, including frequent profanity, from men who have no library business is just shocking. It's impossible to concentrate in there. Library employees seem unwilling to do anything about it, probably because a library employee is one of the loudest and most foul-mouthed in this group each afternoon. I would NEVER allow my child in that place.

The staff was super nice. Went there in my first week in the States, without knowing much about libraries in USA. The front desk staff helped me to get my new library card and explained everything I needed to know. I’m a regular now. The fiction section is my favorite.

I am currently in the youth section (because I am a youth) of the Albany public library and I was just yelled at and when I say yelled I mean YELLED at for moving a chair. There were no chairs around the outlet where I was plugging my phone in so I moved a chair closer to the outlet and that is where they yelled at me. So then I saw another outlet underneath the table so I sat down and plugged my phone in. A good five minutes goes by and again, the same rude librarian approaches me and yelled at me saying I couldn’t be on the floor. I have never met a more rude librarian and he has made my experience here a horrible one. Thank you to whoever you are, I will not be coming here again. Youth, if you really want to get your work done for school, go to the Bethlehem Library on Delaware Avenue, Delmar NY. The service there is so good and I guarantee you the librarians will not yell at you, and they have enough outlets so if you need your laptop or phone you could. Albany public library, please hire nicer people. Not a bunch of Karen’s and Ken’s(male Karen). If I could give his place a 0, I would.

Yes, all of our library branches have book drops available for items to be returned
At the moment the Arbor Hill/West Hill and Howe Branches are open by appointment for limited services (using a computer, printing, copying, faxing, meeting with a librarian), and open for curbside pickup. The Bach, Delaware, and Pine Hills Branches are open for curbside pickup only.
The buildings are not yet open to the public, though we are moving in that direction. Currently, we do have curbside pickups service available for books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks. We also have a wide range of virtual programming for the public.
In the back of library there's a parking lot

There is a parking lot in the back of the building. There's also parking in front of building on Washington Avenue. Good luck finding spot though.
Yes I would say so
