Excellant staff, always ready to help with looking for a book or help with the computer, anything you need in the library is there for you!

When you walk into this library the staff greets you very nicely, and the smell of parchment paper always brings me back to when I was younger going to the library every weekend. It's a great place to come and escape into a different world of fantasy, crime, or romance well of course depending on your particular area of interest! I feel as though the age of technology continues to grow more vast and the quest for good old fashioned books dwindles with each passing year... I just hope that library's don't go out with the new ear coming in! Books are absolutely amazing and I encourage all to pick one up once in awhile!

Hannah was an excellent help in finding a great novel to read, She asked me different questions to further figure out some wonderful recommendations. She is a great addition to this library!

I come here to use the computers to print. I’ve never had any problems before. And I am always there for less than 10 minutes. But today I had someone that was extremely rude and shouldn’t be working there. As I scanned my card, she said it may not work and she’ll print me a ticket and they close at 6. I was there at 5:20 and would never tell my customers that. And she was just sitting there texting. Definitely should look into having nicer people work here!

Yes, you can. Visit www.library.marioncountyfl.org and then click on "Search the Library Catalog." Type in the name or author of the item that you're looking for and search. Click on the item you would like and then click on "Request item." You will then put in your library card number and pin number. You will then be asked to choose which location you would like to pick your item up at. Then you will click "Request item." You will either receive an email or a post card in the mail when your item has arrived at the library.
The library does not offer specific classes on I-Phones, however they do have Tech Help sessions every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. You can bring in your device and ask questions about it.
Absolutely but you're probably going to have to talk to them and maybe even get a permit from the county. Good luck maybe I'll see you there! Sorry I saw another answer and then I should have put that you can probably petition outside but I doubt you can petition inside.
Unfortunately we don't have that service available. You can only print from our reference computers. What you can do is, from your smartphone you can email the document to yourself then open your email on our computers to retrieve the document and print them. Hope that helps.
Yes, they can make copies from a book or they can help you print them from a website. They don't actually have copies for you to just walk in and take.
Most libraries are not tsking donations of used books at the cuttent time dur to covid. To donate a new book that is coming out go to the library and they will help hou with that. Otherwise many of the thrift shops accept donations of books.
Yes, the fee for this service is $1 per page. For more information, contact our Belleview location at 352-438-2500.
I know they will help you get on line to use the computers, but if you are needing real classes, I'm not sure about that. I think cfcc would have classes to help you become really competent on computers. You might want to check them out.
They do and so much more you're going to have to call the Belleview Library direct cuz schedules change
No. Both study rooms have windows.
Yeah what they said LOL
Hello Christian the Belleview library has two different study rooms!
Huge Selection of children's books (a while room in fact) Lake Lillian park is nearby (about 2 or max 5 miles)
Late fees are $.15 per business day per item, up to a maximum of $5.00. Days that the library is closed--holidays, Sundays--do not count. There is an outside book drop if you'd like to return something when the library is closed. It is next to the library's mailbox.
Donated items can be added to the collection or sent to the Friends of the Belleview Public Library for sale to the public. Any donation would need to be clean and usable condition.
No, the old library on the corner of Dogwood and Earp is the friends of the Belleview library's book store, that is where you eill find used books, they are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-2 and their phone number is 245-2767
The library is actually on County Highway 484. From 441, you turn at the light by the CVS drugstore. The library is about 2 mi from that intersection, and it will be on the left side of the road. There are bushes in front of the library, so it can be a little hard to see, but there is a green Library road sign telling you that the turn is coming up. If you get to a second traffic light on 484, you've missed the turn and gone just a bit too far. The library is approximately a half a mile down the road once you pass Souls Harbor Church and the Garden Worship Center Church. If you need more help, call the library at 438-2500. They'll be happy to walk you through!
