Very Warm professional staff ,from the reception to the Nurses ,with ALL that's going on in my life the environment is that of comfort and putting you first and you definitely feel like the priority soon as you enter the facility.

Dr Ball is amazing! But I need to let everyone know how exceptional the receptionist Maria is! She spent so much time and effort getting me straight with appointments. It would have taken me forever to get ahold of all the right people but she did everything for me! So greatful! She went above and beyond! Thank you so much! She needs a raise!

Do yourself a favor, and never go to this place. I’ve had two experiences here, both spaced apart by several years and both were horrible. This place is like a factory and solely focused on the amount of money they can make off of you. The wait times are consistently astronomical, the women in the checkin area are are rude, but probably because they are so over worked answering the never ending phone calls while trying to check in an onslaught of patients. The doctors really don’t seem to understand or care to take the time to understand your case. They do not treat you with respect as you have to wait weeks for results and they refuse to give them over the phone. I was told by these doctors that I needed 6 infusions - after getting a second opinion from BayCare I was told that this was a money making tactic and I only needed 1 treatment. I can not stress enough how how awful this place is. Go to Baycare and Get treated like a human being with dignity.

My appointment for a B-12 injection was scheduled at 1:15 pm on 10-18-2019. I did ask if appointments were running on time. Receptionist informed me the Clinic has had computer issues. I was called back an hour later. My blood pressure was 138, normal for me 110. The MA did repeat after my request. I am very disappointed with my experience today, unfortunately, this is the pattern at Florida Cancer Specialist. I have canceled my future appointments. The office is extremely short staffed and I’m sure they are overworked and not appreciated by managers. No one smiles. Very depressing clinic. Clutter everywhere throughout Clinic. Waiting room very dark, TV too loud, soap opera on. Really? I am having my records sent to Moffitt McKinley Campus where I will continue my Care. Location usually rules for me, not this time. Florida Cancer Specialist needs to clean house and get employees who care, have positive attitudes and put Patients First.

Not that I know of in house, as all my cancer surgeries were performed before I was recommended to visit an Oncologist. However, after my second reoccurrence, I opted for a port and Florida Cancer provided several surgeons referrals.
