I went to Pamela while TTC after a miscarriage and got 2 Arvigo Mayan massages. She also taught me how to do the massage on myself which I did everyday. Her massage was incredibly relaxing and she is lovely. I got pregnant on the second try, and now I’m 30 weeks! Yesterday I got my first prenatal massage and I was in heaven. I’ll definitely be going back for the remainder of my pregnancy and for a postpartum massage too. 10/10 recommend!

Pam is one of the l best massage therapists who has ever worked on me, and I’ve been having massages for many, many years. She had gotten into specific areas that no one else has, with great results. I am usually pretty sore after massages, but am often not with Pam (unless I come in with severe issues). I attribute it not only to her technique, but to also to the use of cupping that increases blood flow. She is very in tune with her clients, and her facility has a nurturing and peaceful, Zen vibe. Pam is a true healer, and I am so grateful for her calm, gentle spirit and her gifts and talents.

Massage sessions range in length of time (30, 60 or 90 minutes) as well as the type, such as lighter pressure (relaxation) to deeper with more specific pressure (deep tissue) and a variety of other techniques as well. Most people do well to start with a one hour relaxation massage to become accustomed to being touched and learning how to relax on the massage table. I would suggest starting there. You'll be modestly draped at all times. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered and you may keep your under garments on if you're more comfortable.
Yes, you may park on the street or in any of the parking lots around Cocoa Village. The 3 hour parking restriction is not strictly enforced.

If you've had a vaginal birth with no complications you can receive a massage right away. If you've had a cesarean birth you need to wait at least 3 weeks or until your doctor clears you for exercise. Did you know? Newborns are welcome in the treatment room as long as you give us advanced notice. We can position them on the table with you or they may stay in their carrier in a secure location inside the treatment room. This is one of the services that sets Motherlove apart!
