I've been to a couple different stylists over the years who have claimed to understand curly hair, and I have been consistently disappointed. I found this salon and their Facebook page for curly girls, and I was impressed by their knowledge and ideology -- namely that curly hair does not need to be complicated. I've been doing curly girl for about two years now and love how simple it can be, but influencers and product owners love to overcomplicate the process. I scheduled with Donna and honestly, she and the salon were a breath of fresh air. Donna evened out my length and layers that had been butchered by the deva cut I had last gotten and showed me an even simpler way to style it than I had been doing. I am loving the results. My hair is happier, my curls are more "themselves," and my routine is so, so simple. I could not recommend more. I've already passed the contact info to two of my curly coworkers and will be back myself, for sure.
