Have been here in the mornings, afternoons and even the evenings...and there has never been more than 2 or 3 other shooters here. Sometimes there's been no one else. Always clean, has restrooms, water....and it's FREE.

Incredibly impressed.! We came in as they were still doing some maintenance on a Monday, and got to meet those who watch and care for the range. They were kind, friendly, and were great about speaking up to those not being very careful with their weapons. Though it is "unsupervised", it IS monitored and all who we encountered there handled themselves properly and professionally. There are restrooms on site and the shooting area is covered with plenty of bench seating. Remember this is a free outdoor range, so bring your own targets, ammo, and protection. Pick up after yourself and be courteous. Everyone shooting was wonderful about speaking up when needing a cold range, so we could swap targets. As well as checking with all before resuming. I will definitely be returning.!

Is the range open today
Use of slugs is ok. Birdshot, buckshot and stuff like that is not. Have fun
No. This shooting range is free of charge and is largely unsupervised. It is a place for people to safely shoot their own firearms.
It's been many years since I've been there but the last time I was there I think there was a 200-yard range as well as a few more shorter distance ranges for handguns.

I believe so as well. The rifle and handgun side is covered while the shotgun range is not.

Not recommended, but yes. I have heard someone there before shooting a 50 cal.

I saw on news, they got in closed after an inspection. Berns need repair, overgrown vines cause a fire hazard and sewage is in need of repair. They gave no opening date, just closed until further notice. :(
I went the other day and it was still closed. The posted sign states that it would be closed until mid August, however passed that now and still not open
Yes, have fun and please clean up your mess. There is also a Archery range with an elevated stand to shoot from.
Of course it's always open 24/7 from sunrise to sundown - no shotguns allowed
250 yds. No shotgun. I believe you could shoot all the way up to.50 cal..
Nicely maintained, also has an archery range. During the week it's not crowded.
