Kingsley Lake has always been a big part of my childhood. Unfortunately there's not much access to the public anymore.

The lodging was nice enough, but the customer service and experience were not great. We were looking forward to staying in q-huts with another family, and they ignored our requests to be together at check in. Even after being told if we got there right on time and requested it it shouldn’t be a problem. Very disappointing experience, but I guess I should have known better than to expect any customer service or care from military lodging.

Will not let DAV members to stay there unless you are 100% disabled. I have stayed in numerous Military Fam Camps and it's the first I have ran into this issue. So heads up to any Disabled Vetrans who plan on staying there. Call first so you won't waste your time...

Nice RV Park and campground on Kingsley Lake. Cabins and q-huts are also available. There is even a primitive group site for scouts. Bathrooms within walking distance. Swimming and boating allowed. Kayaks and paddleboards available to rent at the Recreation Department. Great place to stay!
