Moved from a home in Ave Maria in late July and this has been the best experience I could have chosen for my new lifestyle. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, the amenities are plentiful and the crew here is like family. The location couldn't better because of its proximity to shopping, entertainment and restaurants. Sandalwood Village is the best!

They're having a problem with landscaping and maintenance. The weeds are now several feet high in front of the complex. They need to look at Wilshire Lakes and Village Walk. Those communities set the standard for landscaping. Sandalwood Village - not so much.

Sandalwood Village is a luxury market-rate apartment home community for 55+, all applicants must prove income or asset value greater than 3x the monthly rent.
Since Sandalwood is for 55+, I would say no.
With Sandalwood Village there are no upfront entrance or buy-in fees, compared to many other senior communities. You are responsible solely for your monthly rent, electric, and a cable/internet package. This is a great option to free-up your financial assets and avoid those high fees, annual taxes, and HOA/COA fees. The only additional fee would be if you choose to add-on a meal plan through our on-site restaurant, but those are customizable and do not require long-term commitments.
