If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful ambience with great food and service look no more the Hillstone Restaurant is definitely it. They have a beautiful indoor restaurant but an even more gorgeous view outside where you get to sit and enjoy the shade of the beautiful trees, take in the bushes filled with blooming flowers, feel the fresh breeze off the lake all while enjoying the warm pink sunsets as you’re taking a bite of their delicious appetizers and entrees. They have a great location and definitely used every part of it. Their service is always great and the food is consistently great.

I chose this restaurant due to its rating and location. It’s definitely an upper scale establishment, with a great location and a very sheik decor. The staff are dressed in all black entire and acting very professional, but a little in the aloof side. As I was dining alone, I choose the bar. Although it was mid-afternoon, the bar was very busy, with several noisy groups enjoying their drinks. Not the best atmosphere for fine dining, but decided to give it a try. The house wine was interesting and when I asked about one, was given a tasting. I then tried their chili, only offered on weekends. It was very impressive. That was followed by a chicken sandwich with fries. I enjoyed the food and wine, the service was impeccable and the lake view pleasant. My meal and tip came to over $50.00, the most I’ve ever paid for lunch.

The perfect place for a nice dinner, the restaurant vibe was perfect to keep a nice conversation while enjoying the delicious food. We ordered some drinks as well and it was a perfect match for our entree. The host and the server were super friendly. The view of the lake at sunset is amazing, perfect for pictures and you can also take a walk on the little boardwalk/pier they have outside. They have some seating area outside. It was kinda cold that day, so maybe some heaters would help as well as some lights on the seating areas closer to the lake. It'd be nice to have a drink out there while enjoying the view.

Had a really great experience here. Brought my wife for her birthday and we got to have drinks behind the restaurant by the lake. My wife loved the cocktails. The food was really great too. I had the French dip and she had the ahi tuna salad. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. Definitely coming back.

No room. No tables bigger than 4 or 6. If your party is bigger they can seat u in adjacent ones, but wont move them to sit together (its impossible bc they are static).
Hillstones is a large Nationwide chain of restaurants owned by a large company.
I've never seen discounted menu items for HH. They are always busy. Pretty sure they still do a cork fee.
We have never had a bad experience there! Spend every Anniversary there on Christmas eve and they never disappoint!

Yes. There are 4 top tables that can accommodate a wheelchair. Make a reservation please. The wait is too long without one (Usually 45 minutes).
We put our name down then went out to the back to watch the sun set on the lake and have drinks and appetizers. It was so beautiful we gave our seats away and stayed. Have a wonderful time.
I dont think so. They have a patio area but i dont think they serve there. I would recommend park ave.

HILLSTONE I've been going to dine in NY and Winter Park they do not take reservations "normally" however in case of larger parties or possibly a special occasion they may make an exception
You can't really reserve the dock for dinner per say. Anyone can go to the dock with food and drinks to lounge around there for a bit. It can probably fit about 20 people.
I worked for the Hillstone in Coral Gables for 7 years. The only 2 days a year we were closed were Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day so everyone could be with their families. I'm not sure if that's changed since I left in February of 2013
