A fun digging place where you can find artifacts and learn about them on signs! The park just on the other side is a great place for older children and is a safe place in case of weather.

The best little hidden gem of this place is not only the great little dig area which my two boys love, but the leave a book- take a book, which makes for a great transition when its time to go- a book for the car...and educational. Also, the shaded playground area is great for Florida weather. I appreciate that there are close parking spots to the parks gate, as well as a fountain to drink water if you have forgotten yours or just want a quick drink. This park gets way too busy on the weekends as it is right next to a water park that can get full on weekend days especially. They have a charge usb port in one of their benches by the gate. A Naples gem when not too packed, and definitely much more affordable than the meausum across the street towards the entrance...gulp!

Rock digging area for infants and toddlers, as well park for children. 4 stars because it can get overcrowded. Older children 9 and up will get bored. Also, not a big deal to me, but a lot of kids will end up using and taking your kids digging toys, so bring only a couple easy clean up toys.

My grandkids love it. Kids enjoyed digging and play with the sand.
