Horrible customer service! I live in an apartment complex and was out of town for 2 weeks and didn’t realize I *had* to put my mail on hold if gone longer than 3 days… I travel for work every month for a week and have never had this happen before. I found this out upon my return when all my mail was returned to sender. This would usually not be a big deal except the past 2+ years I’ve been applying for citizenship in another country and the closest consulate is located 4+ hours away and they only correspond via post. After discovering the consulate returned my citizenship application and USPS returned it to sender I was horribly stressed that I’d lose all my documents I’ve been working so hard to process. They were no help in tracking down the item even though I had tracking and they didn’t even provide the courtesy of a return call to provide me with an update even though they said they would. When I called back in today they acted like it wasn’t their problem and couldn’t be bothered with it. Extremely rude, horrible experience. Do not recommend. Update: usps in Miami has been extremely helpful but due to the ridiculous rule that my local mail courier imposed of returning all my mail back to sender because my mailbox is too small and I haven’t picked it up in a few days -the consulate says they don’t have my envelope and the usps in Miami has been unable to retrieve it so I’ve literally lost THOUSANDS of dollars and over 2 YEARS of work because of a mail courier with an inflated sense of duty to their job. LEAVE MY MAIL IN MY MAILBOX NEXT TIME.

This is our "home" post-office cause it's a few minutes away. I come here about 1-2x a month to ship out items. My husband and I share a car, and today I got out of work late so I sped on over with my ebike to drop off a package. I got there at 5:31pm. I went to the self-service machine to avoid having to go inside (with a lobby full of people), but the machine was broken and wouldn't scan the QR code and wouldn't print out any other stamps/labels. Last week when I shipped out something it wasn't working either. It's goes in & out of being functional. So I went inside to see if they'd give me some grace (at this point it's like 5:33pm) and print the QR code label which *literally* takes 20 seconds to do not even. The door wasn't locked so I went in with the other people waiting. They all looked at me like I was crazy for coming in. I explained I prepaid for my label and the machine in the lobby wasn't working so I'm hoping they'd give me grace. Nope. The lady was totally rude about it, asking if the other customer had locked the door, and said she couldn't help me. I told her I rode over and asked "Even for a QR Ebay Label?" and she still was rude about it and said they closed at 5:30pm. Perhaps I'm too kind, but I wouldn't have turned away a common customer, who was sweating from riding their bike, when the self-service machine is busted, they have a PREPAID label and is only a few minutes late. I get that USPS in general is struggling, but whoever manages this location needs to figure out ways to get more employees and fix the self-service machine to help alleviate these issues. P.S. To make matters worse, I rode to UPS to see if I can cancel/change the label since they are open later, and when I got off my bike with the package on the back, I leaned too far when dismounting (it's 65lbs), and twisted my knee catching it so now I can't ride or walk 🙃

Had a very good experience when dealing with Angela, a postal worker at Crossroads USPS. She is friendly, helpful, and informative, patient and nonjudgmental.

The Postal system in general is Horrible!!!! See the person that delivers in my area walking around with their phone glued to their eyes!! That's probably why I get a bx full of someone else's mail and never get mine!!! I leave a note on there telling the one delivering the mail that all the mail in my bx is not mine, and I actually get that piece of mail back, which isn't mine, saying not to write on it. O I'm just so sad if it embarrasses you, but I don't get paid to do your job!!!! That's probably why my Son's birthday card and gift never got to him. STOP WALKING AROUND LOOKING AT YOUR PHONE AND DO YOUR JOB!!!!!

I think any post office should take a forever stamp no matter the date
I don't think they do. I know that most FED EX and UPS stores do & they charge for the service.
You can go online to USPS.com and fill out a request to hold your mail
Had the same thing happen, caused a 3-day fiasco of trying to pick it up They were apologetic when I got there, apparently it wasn't the normal mailman on the route that day. Could be a similar issue
Three. One International stamp equal to up to two ounces to Canada is $1.10. A US Forever stamp is only worth 50 cents. It's cheaper to buy one International stamp than use $1.50 worth of Forever stamp to mail a $1.10 item to Canada.
Yes they do
