The food was DELICIOUS! We were visiting from Ohio and wanted some good seafood and OMGOODNESS Gary's delivered. They have a great variety of meals on their menu and everything was hot & fresh. The service was EXCELLENT as well!

Four of us enjoyed our time immensely at Gary's. We were looking forward to oysters on the half shell and Gary's did not disappoint. Sampled many of the favorites including steamed oysters, gator bites and steamed oysters with jalapeños and cheese (very decadent) on top of the raw oysters. Thoroughly enjoyed Dave's humor while he shucked and served drinks. If going with a date...don't miss the infamouse "leg spreader" cocktail!

Gary's is so delicious! And the staff were so attentive and friendly! We went at 8pm on a Friday night and sat right away. You have got to try their chargrilled oysters! We got half parmesan bacon & half jalapeño bacon Oh! My! Goodness!! Soooooo good! We ordered the blackened prime rib and blackened grouper and they were both cooked to perfection! The prime rib had a delicious rub on it and the meat was so tender & juicy. The grouper also had a delicious flavor and the fish was beautifully cooked. It was perfectly flaky & not overcooked which is easy to do to fish. The baked potatoes and hush puppies were yummy as well! And then I got Gary's signature Strawberry 🍓 Rum Runner and it was so good!!! Def will be coming back!

Based on some of the reviews here, I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, it doesn’t live up to expectations. The good - the blackened grouper sandwich. The gator appetizer was also a good choice. Fried scallops and the flounder were pretty good. The bad - all the sides we had. Fries were under cooked and not salted. The onion rings looked amazing with fresh batter, but had no seasoning and were not crispy at all. The fried catfish (along with other fried items) lacked basic seasoning, a small amount of black pepper and salt would go along way. Final thoughts, the 3.75% fee on credit cards is a joke and you can only ask yourself why would they want to force customers to pay with cash.??? Overall the place is ok and fits the need of the locals, but Gary’s would struggle if located in a bigger city.
