Excellent, Reithoffer shows provided amazing rides, games and a terrific variety of food to choose from. The fair added to the excitement by providing music, shows, history experiences of story telling, cowboy camp and blacksmithing. Lots of livestock, petting zoo and many activities for children. On Monday night attendees bringing 3 cans of food to donate to the Harry Chapin Food Bank got in free.

The Lee Civic Center is a location that hosts many events. I've run 5K's here, went to dinosaur exhibits, sportsman events, car shows, vintage markets, gun shows, home/remodeling shows, and most recently, the Lee County Fair! We went to "canned goods night" for the fair, which included paying admission of 3 cans per person, which is a $10 savings per adult. Kids 6 and under were free. It also happened to be "dollar ticket/ride night," which meant every ride was only one ticket, compared to 3-5 tickets per ride. They had 2 ferris wheels, a "kiddie" section of rides, as well as a "big kid" section. They had other pay-per-use areas, such as: games, face painting, food truck vendors, bull riding (kids and adults), and more. They had a swine, beef, and horse barn, as well as a chicken/goat barn. It was perfect as a family of four, with two kids ages five and two. We arrived a little after gates opened at 4pm on Monday, and were perfectly worn out by 7pm. The food trucks had your typical fair options and typical fair prices:, chicken shish kabobs for $7, steak shish kabobs for $9, lemonades for $6 (and $3 refills), turkey legs, fries, cotton candy, caramel apples, Parmesan corn on a stick, and so much more. This venue, and most events, are designed for all ages. They have indoor restrooms in the main building, and usually have port-a-potties around the property. Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals (this does NOT include Emotional Support Animals, per the ADA for their space). They have a huge, paved, parking lot, a main building, outbuildings, and the grounds are comprised of grass, dirt, and paved areas. It is stroller/wheelchair accessible for most events. The grounds are fenced in, and there is a "main gate" for entry, where they sell tickets and the like. They have security, metal detectors, bag checks, and stamps for re-entry (if applicable). I recommend this venue, depending on the event you're attending :). The prices vary by event, but sometimes events have discounted/special days, which helps.
