I can't emphasize enough how bad the ahi tuna was. Ahi tuna is one of my favorite things to order at any restaurant, and I have had many through the years. This was by far the worst I've ever had. It was extremely fishy tasting and it was basically still frozen. Not only was the fish horrible, but it's crusted in black pepper and was SO peppery. My throat burned. Service was okay, but overall outdated, expensive, low quality restaurant.

Everglades is everything that you would expect from a showcase restaurant in a resort hotel. Service was top notch and the food was delicious. A basket with 3 different breads and a coconut sauce was a pleasant starter. We both had soup to start, Aligator Chowder and Lobster Bisque, both excellent. My wife had the Crab Cake appetizer for an entree and it was as good as any you can get in Maryland. I had the Pork Chop, so tender and tasty. We were too full for dessert but they brought yummy truffles for a sweet end to a delicious meal.

We went for our anniversary figuring we would try something new. First impressions of the resturant were a little uncomfortable. When we first got there the way the hostess was dressed was very formal. She dissapeared for 3 minutes after saying hello. Once we entered we found out why. She went to prep the table and make sure tgere was just two plates. The menu had a little customization with our names which was sweet. I got the ribye with potatos and spring vegtables my wife got the surf and turf. Both of our plates were ok. Both steaks had been charred too much. The potatos were underwhelming. The dinner ended on a high note when our awesome server brought out a desert with haooy anniversary and two glasses of champagne. Overall an ok experience but nothing to write home about. Thank you to the server for decent service and the nice supprise after our dinner.

Amazing atmosphere and phenomenal staff. Food was prepared perfectly and my glass was never empty at my table. Will return on my next trip.
