Pros: Amazing views, close to night life, cozy condo. Cons: The elevator is tiny, the pool is small and it was not well kept. Our condo was clean and had everything we needed.

This is for Condo 313: Pro's: location, the beach, pool, and the staff at the surrounding shops are friendly. Cons: Dirty fan in the very dated kitchen, dishwasher door won't close so that it can be used, microwave in the kitchen is old with worn out buttons, rust spots around the air vent, we turned the kitchen faucet on and saw some sort of crud built up under where the handle sets when it is off, vents look filthy, rails on balcony need a good cleaning, shower door has build up at the bottom, very tiny bathroom off main bedroom. The panoramic lens used for some of the website pics hide how small the kitchen and balcony are. A call to the property manager had them offer to have people come by to replace the dishwasher and clean. We declined to have this done on the principle of this should have been something the property management should have been on top of between renters of the condo so as to not inconvenience people, who have paid good money for what appears on the website for the condo. Plus, the first impression was already made and we had already cleaned as best we could with what was available at the condo. The "key" for the elevator (along with the key to the pool and beach gates) was not in the lockbox located at the front of the parking area as we were told they would be since a key is "needed" (more on this later) to get into the elevator. Fortunately for us, another occupant of the condo let us in the elevator with their key. As for the elevator for the condo, I later learned that ANY key, screwdriver, small coin, or flat piece of metal will suffice since all you need to do is stick it in the key hole and turn it and the elevator opens. Be forewarned though that the elevator is slow, jerky, and terrifying if you are claustrophobic. Especially when the elevator lurches up about an inch as you are getting in it. Overall, in my humble opinion, this condo was not worth what you are asked to pay to stay in it since I have stayed in hotels that were cleaner and cheaper. We are currently awaiting the cleaning fee that we paid in advance to be refunded since that is the only compensation we were offered for the disappointing status of the condo. Update: The owner refunded the cleaning fee and did right by us on the overall cost of the rental.
