The shelter is not the Ritz. It is a crowded, noisy shelter run by kind, caring ladies who help you all that they can. There is plenty of food, hot showers, computers that work, an indoor smoking room, free laundry, and a free TV room plus free wi fi. You can come and go as you need to, staff will take you to medical appointments with enough notice. There are free clothing donations nightly. It is community living, you share everything including your bedroom. Children play up and down the hall, your roomies might stay up all night and keep you awake but it's better than being abused. So even though it's not perfect it is a wonderful blessing to those in need.

I have been a supporter of this shelter for many years. The incredible hard work of the founder, counselors and network of support go along way. A shelter is there to provide a safe place. The provisions are donated by caring people who do all they can to meet the needs of the victims. It's definitely a service the community should be grateful for.

They do a great job for victims of domestic violence. We took them a huge box of toiletries and 10 old cell phones they can use to dial 911 for help with when needed!

I was in the shelter for a brief time with you Rhonda. The shelter was not always the cleanest but that was because a lot of the ladies including you didn't clean up after themselves. As for the staff I know how much they helped me. They saved my life. If it wasn't for the shelter and the staff I would have had no where to go. As for you I watched you come in the shelter so intoxicated you were bouncing off the wall a couple of times. You say your a minister how Godly of you to post judgement on this shelter and the staff there. You were and are very much a drama queen. This shelter has helped me through a very dark time in my life. Because of the shelter and staff I was able to find an amazing job and a place for me and my child to live. Thank you so much
