The optometrist was thorough and told me that my eyesight had slightly improved so I thought the prescription which was handed to the assistant instead of to me, would be different. I ordered the progressives which were very expensive but since I d a lot of computer work, I thought it would be worth it. I did specifically told them about my being on the computer most of the day and was assured that the progressives will work for me. I was given the prescription after I had ordered, right before I left. Days later I looked at it and found out that the prescription was exactly the same as my old ones, I did not need new glasses! That was not the impression I got when the doctor told me my eyesight had improved! The assistant did not say that I would be getting the same prescription lenses as the ones that I had turned over to them so they could use the same frame for the new lenses. When I got the glasses I tried for several days to make it work for me but only the distance part was good, I could not get the readers to focus. I tried to return it but they said it was not returnable. They offered to exchange it for bifocals, which were a lot cheaper but I was not going to get a partial refund. I decided to buy nose pads instead, to see if that would help but it did not. I feel betrayed. I spent $460.00 after my insurance kicked in $150.00 for a pair of glasses that I cannot use, and did not need.

Hands down Opti-mart at the Sun City Florida location is the place to go for all your optical needs. I’ve been a patient/customer here for 3 years. I finally convinced my husband he needed an eye exam after many years as well as new eye glasses. The Staff at Opti-mart is well run and has a great selection of eyewear options. We found Opti-mart's eye exams frames and lenses quite reasonable. I love that you’re greeted warmly upon arrival - no long wait time. Kaitlin Jackisch is the Optical Area Manager..she’s fantastic and quite seasoned in her position and a wonderful asset to Opti-mart. Our Optomitrist Doctor Sara Regal was wonderful as well as knowledgeable and thorough. Two wonderful Staff members of Opti-mart are Beatriz and Sarah. Both Sarah and Beatriz are not only knowledgeable and helpful but they are a huge asset as to why Opti-mart is run so seemlessly. If you need assistance with suggestions for the perfect eyeglasses - they know all there is to know about face shape and complimentary frame color for your best look. Beatriz made sure our eye glasses were measured for a perfect fit before they’re ready for pick up in a couple of weeks. After that she proceeded to show us other options available such as transitional lenses for outside with a few color options. Once we’d made our final selections, Beatriz informed us we could take advantage of Sunbit credit - which would allow us 3 monthly payments to pay for everything. This is so perfect for anyone who does not wish, or are unable to pay the cost up front. My husband and I highly recommend (Opti-mart) now (Sight-360) for all your personal eyecare. From walking into the store the environment and vibe was very open and welcoming! It is very rare that you walk into a doctor's office and sense the openness and care of the environment. I felt very taken care of and very respected! Even the other patients in there seemed very relaxed,opened, and comfortable. If I am still living in town will definitely return! And I also loved how they were mostly women there for some reason!

I will not conduct business at this location again due to the incredibly rude reaction I got from one of the young ladies in the front store area, (unfortunately I didn't get her name). I stopped in to have a quick repair done on my glasses and I didn't have a mask on. The lady asked if I had a mask and I told her I did not. She then asked if I had an appointment and I told her I did not and I just needed a minor repair done. She then motioned to me as if she wanted me to hand over the glasses. As I approached and started to show her what need to be fixed she reached out and angrily snatched the glasses out of my hand and told me I needed to go outside since I didn't have a mask. Her tone was rude, aggressive and absolutely unprofessional. I told her to give me my glasses back and that I would take my business elsewhere. She handed the glasses back and said go ahead! They clearly have more business than they can handle so it will be my pleasure to spend my money at one of their many competitors in the Sun City Center area...
