I decided to start going to this location recently, bigger bathrooms it’s a bit warm but idc I sweat more lol seems like everyone is here for a purpose I def enjoy this location .. no one is acting like it’s a social club everyone works out and goes home .. every time I go it’s clean and maintained . I’m more comfortable at this location

Don’t just take my word for it, come and visit. Staff are not very much welcoming I came one day 15 mins before closing and wanted hydro massage and they refused to give me time. After I have insisted that it takes 10 mins and I still would have 5 mins to leave then he gave me time in hydro massage. Today I came in the gym at 10:55 pm ( I gave the time to management can look into it, check the cameras please) approximately and the staff that was on the front desk didn’t even acknowledge me I am there. I scanned my tag and I requested for hydro massage and she didn’t even say anything. After I was standing there for few seconds and staring at her she responded what I wanted. ( she had iPod pro in her ear) When I sad hydro massage please, she responded #5 and got it. Gym management can do better at cleaning. Running machine are disgusting.

Avoid this place if you care about your health. This location is absolutely the DIRTIEST and the FILTHIEST gym you could ever go to. 1. Their AIR CONDITIONER does NOT WORK properly. It is so stuffy and warm inside the gym that you can’t breathe and obviously higher risk of getting Covid. People at the front desk literally tell you that they are aware that their air conditioner needs to be fixed, but they don’t give you a proper answer why they don’t fix it. 2. There is ONLY ONE WATER FOUNTAIN in the whole gym which is ALWAYS CLOGED with sputum which is absolutely disgusting. 3. They always BLAST a DISCO TECH or NIGHT CLUB MUSIC. They make it so LOUD that it really HURTS your EARS. Front desk people tell you that they can’t control the music. Going to this gym is DANGER to your HEALTH rather than making and keeping you healthy.

This Planet Fitness is the closest location to my apartment, but not my home gym, which is in the Financial District. Pros: It is walking distance (abeit far) from my home. The spa area is amazing. It is an area seperate from everything else where there is a table, some comfortable chairs along with the hyrobed, the massage chairs, the tanning bed, and the Total Body Fitness machine. I came there for the latter which is far more up to date and easier to use than the other TBFM's at other locations. Cons: The equipment could be placed better. Arms should be with arms, legs with legs. Triceps and biceps, back and abs. Leg curls, leg extensions. You get the idea. It makes a workout more effficient. The dumbell area is very unorganized. The weights are missing and I could not find what I needed. The same thing for the smaller weights where people work out on mats. Cleaning fluid runs out near the free weight area. This could be easily solved by adding a second station rather than have it share with that side of the floor. By far the worst thing about the gym is the general level of cleanliness. It seems like this place hasn't been cleaned in a month. I put my phone on the floor face down (just in case I drop a weight, I don't want to crack my phone.) It is covered in dust and absolutely filthy. The whole place could use a good vacumming. The floor is absolutely disgusting.

U can do it on line, or visit your nearest planet fitness club. 10.00 down, 10.00 a month great investment on working towards a better you. If u live in the bronx , castle hill is a great gym ppl friendly an the ppl motivate you. Good luck!!
I think you can ask a friend or a family member who is at least 18 years old to open a membership. A debit card and state issued IDs are required.
If they have a black card membership, yes you can. You will only need a state ID to get in. They would take your info. at the front desk.
