I have always been attended to my needs and never had to wait long to get the resource I was inquiring about. I really do appreciate all the care St. Vincent shows to me and I witness personally there volunteers are always helpful and very respectful, not ever looking down on myself or others who are looking for extra help during trouble tines that seem to plague us all at least once , sometimes its repeatitive seeking help for individuals, couples, families. It’s just very comforting we have churches and charities that can lift us up out of the muck and mire, if it’s just for a day, “GOD BLESS” ST. VINCENT food bank and all the other resource help they provide.

Great place to go if you need help with food or other things. They do wonderful work here for the community . Some of the people are super friendly others not so much. There was 1 lady who went above and beyond and made me feel less horrible about needing help from them another lady was rude to me. I understand they volunteer and have things to do after but please dont take it out on others. Kindness going alot farther then being rude.

Amanda, we don't do deposits, but check with Human Services on Loveland and I believe they do help.
Deb, You may drop off donations at our office Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 9 a.m. until noon. We ask that you not drop items off during times when the building is not occupied. When you enter from Education Way, take the first drive-way on the right and then an immediate left through the donation lane. There will be people there to help unload your donation. Thank you so very much for thinking of St. Vincent. We sincerely appreciate your support and confidence in the ministries we offer to our neighbors in need. Thank you, Charlotte
Vickie, I apologize that I did not respond earlier. At the time your email arrived we were well into the parking lot sale on Saturday. My apologies. Charlotte
You may bring your donations to our facility - 25200 Airport Rd., Punta Gorda on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 9-12. There are volunteers available at that time to assist with removing them from your vehicle and to provide you with a donation receipt. We ask that you do not leave donations outside of these hours as they are subject to scavenging by whomever passes by the facility. This causes quite a problem, and a mess in the area as well. Questions, please call 941-575-0767. Thanks, Charlotte

Vickie, Sorry, we do not take garage sale leftovers. Goodwill is a possibility, but as far as I know, will not pick up. Thank you for thinking of St. Vincent first. We do however offer all that we have, free of charge to those in need. There is such great need right now in our own community. If you have any good quality items, we are open 9-noon MWF to accept donations.
Due to the sensitivity of the strips, I wouldn't donate them nor should they accept them. You don't want a false reading on your conscious. Have a blessed day. Btw, I used to perform tech support on diabetic meters and the error codes were usually because the strip were stored in the bathroom or kitchen or car (moisture destroys the efficacy) and the strips were compromised.
