last year a cake like this in the picture was at least 40 dollars but yesterday my bf bought me this cake for $125 dollars and it wasnt even strawberry shortcake like he asked the girl at the counter for it ended up being vanilla only. $125 really? vanilla and not strawberry shortcake? what? if i knew he was going to pay that much i would of told him to get my strawberry shortcake from magnolia bakery for $55

Officially done with this place!! I’ve been coming to this bakery for years and always order their cakes for upcoming events. It’s been going downhill since the new management. It’s all about how much they can get out of you. I came in and asked for a simple small plain cake with butter cream as I bought my own topper. The girl in the front told me $150, I had ordered a cake with way more details for the same price this summer. When I asked her why she simply said “inflation”. I understand everyone is subject to their own pricing but this girl was so dismissive and kept trying to get me to sign the paper even after seeing I was uncomfortable. And that’s not to mention the mistakes they’ve made on my orders in the past. The previous owner (RIP) would at least call and try to negotiate she actually cared about the service. It’s just super unfortunate. Try a different bakery.

I bought a cake for Thanksgiving. They gouged people with I creased prices due to the holiday and the cake portion was dry and tasted old. If you are going to charge $125 for a small cake, at least make sure it's fresh.

We ordered a cake to be ready by 7:30pm. Its is 8:45PM and I am still waiting on my cake. Super unprofessional and no regard for time.
