I have no idea why I never heard of Sugar Hill Creamery before... I fell in love with this place right away!!! We were greeted and served by Melanie. She's a whole vibe!!! So friendly, patient and welcoming... she recommended that we tried some flavors based on what we like and we went out of our boxes and ended up trying new things because of her. I got my usual and favorite flavor, “cookies” icecream, just that theirs is a little different than usual. It's called "Hello New World" and it's actually cookies and caramel flavor. It was delicious, exactly what I expected. The one that blew my mind and made me go out of my comfort zone was Melanie's favorite combination with Cookies, the one and only "Chairperson of the Board", which is Blueberry cheesecake flavor. Wowwwww!!!!!!! I am NOT a fan of blueberries, I can have them in a shake or mixed with something else but I would NEVER pick blueberry flavor over any other, it will always be my last choice. But let me tell you, this wasn't the case!!! Their blueberry cheesecake is soooo good!!!! I ended up wishing I had gotten two scoops of it instead of just one!!! It's sweet but not overwhelming, my portion had lotssss of grahams and you can taste the cheesecake flavor!!!!! My boyfriend also got out of his comfort zone getting the "Tuma Buna", which is Ethiopian coffee, ginger, turmeric and honey flavor. It tasted only like coffee and cream and condensed milk, there wasn't an overpowering flavor of ginger or turmeric and he loved it for that same reason. We had never had coffee flavored icecream before, we would never get it because it’s just not our thing but their Tuma Buna is just something else!!!!!!!!!!!! I visited the shop on Thursday night and came back Today (Sunday) and Melanie remembered my face right away, even remembered the flavors I had tried and let me know there were new flavors today. Loved the fact that she really paid attention to me the first time I visited, that even remembered every little detail Today, 3 days later and like 100 clients later! Definitely my new favorite creamery!! Can't wait to be back again!!!!!!

Really yummy stuff, flavors are fun and unique. The one downside is the ice cream seams to not be as cold as it could be. I would say it melts very fast. I understand icream melts but this one seems to melt the moment the give it to you. That being said, I recommend and very happy to have an ice cream parlor in the hieghts.

The nicest staff and delicious, unique ice cream flavors with a few great non-dairy/vegan options too. Their coffee and coffee beans are phenomenal. I always buy my whole beans here. The best.

I’ve been lucky to have visited both locations of Sugar Hill Creamery. The flavors are amazing and unique. I just can’t enough and have been been taking anyone who visits NY to this amazing ice cream parlor. Taste every flavor cause it’s just too hard to choose.
