Today I said YES to the perfect dress and I have Julia, my bridal expert, to thank for that! She made my decision a tough one to make because she pulled so many beautiful dresses that I would've never even thought of trying on. The Perfect Dress was the first bridal shop I went to and I'm so glad I did because Julia made me feel so comfortable and calm in a situation that would usually stress me out. I can't recommend this bridal shop enough! Make sure to request Julia when you make your appointment - You will not be disappointed!

The perfect experience! It took me awhile to write this review because I was waiting for our wedding to finally happen so that I could share photos of my dress! I originally went dress shopping back in 2019 in preparation for our 2020 wedding, but like many people we had to postpone our wedding until 2021 due to the pandemic. Throughout this process, The Perfect Dress was so great! I found this shop after attending a wedding expo in Tampa and made an appointment there on site after seeing the sample of dresses they brought with them. At my first appointment with my mom and mother in law I met my bridal consultant, Cindy, who was just so great! She totally understood exactly what style of dress I imagined myself in, while also encouraging me to try some great options that I might not have picked myself. Actually the dress that I wound up choosing was one on a mannequin that I probably would not have chosen on my own, but that Cindy suggested I try on! At my first appointment I narrowed down my top choices and made another follow up appointment which was when I made my dress and veil decision! At my second appointment, Cindy had my (soon to be) seamstress Teresa take a look at the dress to ensure that the alterations/modifications that I wanted to make to my dress could be done- which luckily they could! I wound up having the dress designer add on an extra foot to my dress train (which the shop communicated with the designer for me for this addition) and then in later alterations Teresa filled in the side panels of my dress, and also completely changed the back of the dress to one that was a beautiful low cut. I couldn’t have asked for a better alterations job and am so glad that Teresa was available for it- a true artist! The environment at the shop was also amazing and a great balance between it feeling like a totally personal experience (a bridal consultant and mirror space just for you) and a shared experience with other shoppers and brides in the store (it was so much fun to see other brides’ dress styles and to have other people view my dress choice and love it!). I also chose my bridesmaids dresses from here and my mother in law purchased her dress here as well- The Perfect Dress really does have so many options and styles for brides and everyone! I really could not recommend The Perfect Dress more and I am so glad that I found them! I could not have felt more beautiful on my wedding day and a huge part of that was because of my dress, so thank you for helping me find my truly perfect dream dress!

You are welcome to bring champagne! Respectfully, we please ask you to only bring one bottle and your own drinkware. We have a designated drink station away from gowns just to be safe -- we'd hate for any accidents to happen!
You are welcome to bring up to three guests to accompany you at your appointment! We also find that anymore than three trusted loved ones' opinions can get overwhelming and cause unnecessary stress on what should be the perfect day! If you would like to bring more than three guests, please feel free to give us a call and inquire with manager for additional options!
We offer a wide selection of sizes ranging from 4-34! During your appointment, we will do our best to choose the most comfortable size we may have available in store to try on. When ordering your gown, we always take measurements and guide you to which size your gown designer recommends!
We allow up to an hour and half for all appointments! Please be sure to arrive on time to take advantage of your full hour and a half time. If you reach the end of your appointment and still are unsure, don’t worry – we completely understand! Please feel free to ask your consultant for a follow up appointment to come back and retry your favorites.
We’re so excited to meet you! At your first appointment, please be sure to arrive on time. About 24 hours before your appointment, we will email you a two-part questionnaire to get to know you better. Upon arrival, you’ll meet with your Bridal Stylist to sit and chat about what styles you’re liking (or disliking)! From here, your Bridal Stylist will pull anywhere from 6-8 gowns based on your chat. Typically we will pull a few different styles for you to try since it is your first time! Once we have narrowed it down to your top 2-4 favorite gowns, we will retry those gowns with accessories including veils. If you choose to say YES, we will go ahead and take your measurements, discuss sizing, collect payment in full and go over your contract with you!
Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses can take anywhere from 4-6 months to order, and allow 6-8 weeks before the wedding for alterations. However, sometimes our designers have a limited amount of stock to order immediately. Almost all of our gowns come in a multitude of colors! Traditionally, Mother of the Bride selects her color first, then Mother of the Groom to follow.
Our orderable gowns start at around $1,200 and go up to about $5,500! On average, our brides typically find their dream dress within the $1,500 to $2,500. We also have an incredible off-the-rack selection with gowns primarily under $1,000!
Yes! We require appointments for everyone – including brides, moms, and accessory shopping. We require appointments simply to be sure there is a consultant as well as a fitting room available to you. You are welcome to bring up to three guests to accompany you for your appointment. Please feel free to contact us here to schedule your appointment!
Wedding dresses can take anywhere from 6-8 months to come in, then allow up to two months for alterations before your wedding! We recommend starting your planning process about a year in advance. If your wedding is sooner than a year out, don't panic! We do have options available.
Yes! We have a few different places you can see pictures of our designers' gowns. Our website has most of our designers listed under collections as well as a clickable link for you to browse at their designs. We are on instagram and facebook; this is another great place to few pictures of our gowns on some of our bridal consultants. Please follow us for updates on some of the newest and hottest gowns arriving in store weekly!
Yes, it will be part of the initial paperwork you sign in the store
Hi Vanessa, I am unsure if The Perfect Dress will dye your coat, you can try home dye but a lot will depend on the outer fabric. If it is nylon it will not easily accept dye without an accompanying acid (vinegar) and boiling the coat. Because there is down fill, I highly suggest you do not dye it due to the high risk of clumping of the down.
Carolyn Sullivan, I would make an appointment just so you have someone's undivided attention and help. I did come in unannounced on my first visit to look around, but you get a much better experience with one on one help.
