Pastor Mike is a humble man with real life lived knowledge. I've been going to this church for 4 years now. If Pastor Mike isn't preaching I leave because I don't feel the message is as powerful or meaningful. You have to go through life to preach life. Pastor Mike is the real deal.

A friend invited me to this church to see a talk on Forgiveness. The guest speakers were from Michigan. A cop gone bad put an innocent man in jail and now they are best friends. It was nothing short of moving. I wasn't sure what to expect since I am a cradle Catholic - but I loved it! Great atmosphere. I would recommend.

Probably one of the best places in all of Monterey County to worship. The church is huge, with seating of up to 1200 people. There are two services offered every Sunday. The first service begins at 9:00 am, and the second at 10:45 am. Each worship hour begins with live music, performed by very talented singers, musicians and an enthusiastic choir. The sermons, usually given by Dr. Mike Ladra, are motivating, inspiring, thought-provoking, and sometimes humorous. Following service, coffee and pastries are offered in the foyer, allowing all to mingle with others, as well as to check out the many information and life groups offered by Compass Church. One visit to Compass Church and you'll be pleasantly impressed.

Vagabond Habits

Absolutely love every service I've attended. My parents have been attending for 4 years and I'm glad they've invited me to join. I dont mind the commute as I really do love the service and live music. I feel as if I take away an important life message every Sunday from pastor Mike or chris.
