How do I make an appointment ??

What number did you call to make the appointment?

I've been 3 times and everytime I set my appt by calling the number. You must have an appt to even walk ib the door basically.

You have to call the IRS PHONE NUMBER, it is VERY hard to get to the contact to even make the appointment. CATCH 22 for sure

If you have trouble making an appt or even getting ahold of a human in general, just be old school and walk into the office in person (that's what I did).

I received a letter with a 800 number to call to verify my identity so my 2019 refund will be released. After dialing non stop for a week I decided to drive to a local irs office I was immediately stopped by federal Marshall's and told I cannot enter office. It is insanity.

If your are calling the number u google thats the wrong number u have to go down there like i did to get the right numberto make an appointment.

I don't think you're the only one in that situation. Me and a few family members are going through the same thing. Someone told me is because enrollment of the stimulus. I don't know how true is that.

Yes r s offices are closed right now but you can call and get the information to go online if you need documentation or if you need RF records or W-2s sent to you you can go online and fill out an application that asks you for all this information that they were asked for if you were going in the office so do that www.irs.gov look under documentation or copies of Records go on and do a application
