The laundromat was decently clean and almost every machine was in order. My wife and I used the big washer and a regular one for our household of 4 after the washer in our apartment broke. Both wash units took 30 minutes for a full cycle. We used the change machine and the coin operated detergent dispenser, and both worked flawlessly. On hot, with about 1/3 of a dryer full in each, we set the dryers for 60 minutes on high, and pulled them out 5 minutes before it stopped, and everything was dry. The big "5 load" washer was $9.50 on hot and had an option for +$.50 for heavy soil or an additional rinse which we didn't us, the dryers were $2.50 for 60 minutes (.25 x 8 minutes). They have 3 large steel tables for folding and laundry carts. We got 7 loads of laundry done in all of 2 hours, washed, dried, and folded. The laundry machines take swipe or tap cards, but the detergent vending machine only takes quarters. There's an ATM next door at the lighthouse.

today there was a problem with one of the washers number 7 did not do a spin cycle on my load of towels they where soaking. wet just to dump money into the dryers which some work better then others. but still having to keep feeding the dryer money

Nice facility, but the 1st time I went was good young skinny laundry attendant was very polite and everyone had their mask on and practicing social distancing. The next time there was as a heavy set old gal was short told me to go sit in my vehicle and wait, because the machines were full. Nobody else was in there . She lost my business. I will not be bossed around and not get paid for it , I don't mess around and don't have time for someone's attitude. I will go somewhere else.

QED Laundry is a great place to do your laundry. It is clean, spacious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have good COVID practices in place. The machines are clean and functional, and they take credit cards! No worries if you don't have quarters! They were not too busy which makes distancing easy. If you need a laundromat, this is your place.
