I have gone to plains animal hospital for years now. We have had many pets that have had a few problems each. When we first started going, we were fairly tight on funds, and PAH understood our circumstances, helping us keep our pets healthy in the most affordable way we could. We've since gotten into a better financial situation, and the care at PAH has not diminished in a little over a decade that we have been using their services. Plains has also been nice enough to call us to check on our pet children after such things as surgeries and on normal thing such as an on-going allergy that one of our furry children has. I can guarantee that I'll still be going to PAH for a decent time to come.

Our Cocker Spaniel, Clifford, fell and injured his back on a Friday evening, after the clinic had already closed. I called the clinic first thing on Saturday morning and explained the situation, and they took him in that day. Although the clinic was super busy (Memorial Day weekend and they were going to be closed on the following Monday) the staff were courteous and attentive. Clifford saw Dr. Dorman and she took her time with listening to our concerns while she and her assistants documented his vitals and kept him calm. I have never felt rushed when I took Clifford there but hadn’t experienced a “same day” appointment prior to this, especially on an already busy weekend. My appointment was just as thorough and pleasant as it is when I have a scheduled appointment. I am very pleased with Dr. Dorman and the entire Plains Animal Hospital team.

I would like to thank each and every doctor that works at Plains animal Hospital… for their expertise, professionalism, caring, kind to all, Compassionate, and the knowledge that each and everyone of those veterinarians possess. I have been with them well over 25 years and I know each one individually personally and it’s only gotten better as time went on. It is truly hard to find veterinarians who know how to handle special problems with animals that need immediate assistance regardless of what the problem is. I understand they are not affiliated with the emergency clinic whatsoever. Please know that when you take your animal to Plains animal Hospital it’s to the best vets that exists I know because I’ve been there for many years I am not afraid to take my dogs to Plains Animal Hospital for any reasons whatsoever and every time I brought them there they came home and healed and we’re back to normal. We all love our animals that is true…but so does every person that works there!! But one thing you must remember they care for the animals just as we do and that’s what makes the difference. Keep up the good work and the hard work for sure…You are certainly recognized I am sure by many!!! Teddie and Timmie loves their veterinarians at Plains Animal Hospital!!❤️❤️❤️

Dr. Sara Dorman at the Plains Animal Clinic (not the hospital) is absolutely caring, considerate and a 'lil Guardian Angel ' in reference to the wonderful care she is giving my dog. AND much appreciation for the excellent Staff- very courteous and caring. God's Blessings to them All.

Hi Anthony! Thank you for your interest in PAH and we are sorry that your dog is limping. Our normal physical examinations cost $47 and any diagnostics or medications that would be needed would be additional. We hope your pup feels better soon!
You could apply for CareCredit right there
I would think they would. If it's your pet and it's sick, I would hope they would. Call them
I most definitely will call tomorrow too find out thank you
Yes they are accepting new patients. Just call them. They are currently exercising covid prevention procedures.

Hi Monica! Your dog sounds very sick and needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. Please call to make an appointment at 570-829-4030. Thank you!
It can definitely be a bit pricey but they were very nice and worked with me on the best approach. Unfortunately my kitty had a very large mass in her chest and I had no other options in helping her (she had a lot of trouble breathing). I obviously dont have a good memory of that day, but the ladies were very accommodating. They even sent a card shortly afterwards which I did appreciate. Its never a good situation when u lose a pet/friend. But they did help me through the process and I am grateful for that.
